Hi,
Well done Logan; I've just followed your lead. I've been to the top of the garden with rake and raked over the giant cat litter tray; I've rotavated the area about five times and now most of the roots and stones are removed the soil really is top class; the soil was wet; heavy and clingy but I'm now pleased because it was surprising how many weeds were enjoying my previous hard graft. Every cat for miles around think I'm their best buddy?
I've not seen any bees but Blackies sister Gale was trying to blow me over adding a distinct chill factor but I feel better for just making the effort; I've not been in the workshop today instead I spent time washing the car this morning and just enjoyed a session in the garden. It's wonderful to see so many things I planted last year surviving and becoming established; the daffodils are well up some already in bud and the crocus are following. I planted bushes and conifers at the garden top; the conifers (Sky Rocket) appear to be OK but the Potentilla look rather sad but then they will without leaves so I've got high hopes for this year.
Kind regards, Colin.
