Watched Andrea Yates, the lady who drowned her 5 babies, last night and it was just so sad. I hope I am not going to offend anybody. But I think the couple, especially the husband who demonstrated to me a distinct lack of empathy although he did take her to hospital when needed were brainwashed by that religious fanatic who shouted at females in colleges, saying that they should breed as many as god allows instead of getting an education. The couple just took the religious doctrine to the extreme. She had to wash all the diapers and has had 5 children under 7 in succession. On top of that, she had to home school them. Her father's death left her unhinged. Not forgetting she had to live with the kids in a bus/ caravan like thing for years! Who in his/her right mind would agree to do that or let his wife to do that? Now she will never be free, and the ex with a grin got re-married. Flood of tears for her!

I remember a critic saying that when there is a divorce, it is always the woman who suffers as the man will move onto a younger one and the woman is not getting younger and sometimes she comes with children, and hence does not appear to be an attractive proposition.

Women who do that usually have post natal depression and it goes unnoticed and other people think that it's not that.

When I was growing up, a family a couple of doors away had 11 children. They were all one year older than the other, she must have been pregnant all the time. One of them was the same age as me and she was my best friend.

I have to say, I am one of 7 siblings, but there were reasonable gaps and the older kids looked after the younger ones and there were people who had tons of children, but this lady apparently was a perfectionist and that could be her downfall. Her children were always smiling. Depression is a terrible thing and we are lucky that now people no longer lock up autistic kids (people now know a bit more!). I watched Silent Child and the message it sends out is so important to those who are born deaf and yet clever enough to go mainstream! Support should be in place as it affects these people for life! Had this couple not been brainwashed into washing diapers because it was better for the earth or into having as many as god allows, they would have been OK. These cults should be banned.

Don't think it's my type of viewing, but someone else might find it useful. Have you watched The Woman in White? Good viewing.

Just watched the finale of The woman in white. Strange that they showed it tonight. Quite dramatic!

The Split is OK and of course Nicola Walker has to have feeling for the previous roommate! A bit tedious .. The way the mother snatched business from the daughter was just cruel! That's probably why people want to watch the series. A lot of betrayals going on.
