I thought it well acted, but how many similar plots have their been in Victorian literature like this?

Have to say the first episode is pacy enough i.e. I didn't fall asleep! LOL!

5 episodes isn't too long, they have shortened how many there are in a series.

Are you sure he's not back from possible "death"?! That's how they resurrect characters in soaps...

in a way, it's nice that they can come back from "dead". Acting in such a famous soap tend to typecast people.

Yes we're sure, he left and went to NZ.

They've only resurrected 1 character, that was Ian and Ben's mom.
