Thank you. E10 is the last episode of this series. I don't think Regina has changed. She's a double agent!

Catching up with Strike in which a human leg was sent to his assistant. Strike said that the leg belonged to a teen. The leg looked older than mine. Wish they had done a better job than that. Certainly not a teen's leg! Must say it's a dramatic start. Series written by J K Rowling.

The Repair Shop

The actual people who do the work I find are very skillful, particularly the guy who does the clocks and anything mechanical, like the rabbit, tonight.

However, the "treasure chest," still had a wonky leg and wobbled each time they touched it. I mean, surely they should have noticed that?

The narrator, a Brian Sewell, sound alike, with a high sense of drama with those affected hushed tones, is annoying enough, but not as much as Jay Blades, who does naff all.
Except stand there in that silly hat and those immaculate looking highly polished designer leather overalls, with incongruously, a blue ball-point pen and a tired looking one inch paint brush in his top pocket.

"Jay, you're a waste of space, but try to look useful and as if you're contributing."

Ah! "production values, eh?"

There is someone worse than Brian Sewell???? !!!!:eek::eek:

To be fair, he was more than a "token," in that he knew his stuff.
and I remember him gently correcting some other pain in the bum presenter, on one occasion saying, "You mean fewer, not less." So many people get that distinction wrong.
He died, for the most part, unnoticed, (certainly by me) in 2015.

That was an easy grammatical mistake to spot, Sean! Just his speech is sooooo phony! Another one is the one who narrates Masterchef - I wonder who that was and he/she really puts me off the whole programme!

I agree it's easy to spot, but some presenters on a lot of money get the use of "less or fewer," confused.

Kate Humble just ticks two boxes for the BBC, she's no real qualifications for anything "nature."

I remember in Springwatch, when Bill Oddie did it with her, the camera focused on two moorhens, one smaller than the other. She identified the smaller one as "the female." it wasn't, it was another male. It was probably just one of the previous year's brood. Male and female moorhens look completely different. Bill Oddie didn't correct her.
