@Upsy Daisy Well done! :ROFLMAO::LOL::D:p. See, it's not difficult.. Once you've the hang of it, you will find it so easy.. You can highlight all the photos and upload them all in one go..

@Upsy Daisy The world loves a trier .. and you've tried and succeeded and the world loves you, including us! Hehe ;):D.. The micro-climes provided by the bottles are fantastic.. Clean, warm and bright .. Just like a greenhouse.. Have you been taught by your parents? Some of punnet trays with lids are very good. Just the right height. It's a shame that it took me 2 weeks to finish a bottle of milk and I don't drink any of those juice drinks.. You've done very well. This year, my seedlings have been a disaster and as I can keep the house warm, they have suffered enormously.

Morning Logan and alp and all others who look in.
alp, I collect from friends and family . We don't get through much milk , hubs has soya and we drink tea and coffee black so I only have a splash on my cereal each morning. Juice bottles from family and when we shop I look out for all punnet trays ;);):D.

Read up on what to do on the Winter Sowing site about 6 yrs ago as I got fed up with having seed trays all around the house and on every available window sill . Now they all go outside either in a corner of the garden, in the cold frame or if a bit more protection is required then in the ( cold) greenhouse topped up with a fleece wrap.
I have found that they are much sturdier and healthier for not being molly coddled in heat indoors, but do your research well to make sure you know which plant will thrive in the various environments.

Have a lovely Saturday everyone:D x

Yes, I agree.. Trays everywhere and sometimes, bugs flying around.. Son had to kill some whilst practising his piano.. What a nuisance. The worst is when I used B&Q 125L compost.. Mould, bugs ... not nice in the house, especially when they said there could be human excrements in the new compost making guidelines.. Oh, dear!

My seeds are lucky if they have indoor heat.. Even I have to wrap myself in duvets! LOL!

Good morning all, time to clean up my perennial beds. Snow in the forecast for later today. Tomato seedling have all been potted up, Nicotiana will be next. 7:30 am, I'll go feed the birds for a couple hours to start my day.

Sorry just catching up with the thread - a lot to do as the weather scorches this weekend. Hope you are all well. Here's a few pics I took today with the aid of a little helper. Aquilegia's are my new favourite & not half bad for £1.75 perfectly healthy! The Lilac here climbs 20ft+ up into the canopy of the beech trees, smells delicious!

Guess what? I was thinking of uprooting my aquilegias soon as I have a blue one which I hate and it self seeded everywhere .. 4 in front of some short plants.. @Mark56 Your lovely photo saves the chop.. If they are with white centre, I will keep them. If not, I'm afraid they will have to go.. I'm heart broken as none of my Nora Barlow has come to anything and there I was, thinking that I would have several doubles soon. This year has been disastrous for my seeds.. I lost my mojo.. I couldn't be bothered to repot some seedlings as some of them died after repotting. The compost was too dry and there was too much coir.. Instead of repotting, I caught up with Gardeners' World and hurrah - an hour episode next week! Yes, yes, yes please!

I must get some of those blandas and some white anemones..They are gorgeous..

My garden is now being baked. Tomorrow it will be an oven! LOL!

This poor beauty was trapped inside my lean to and I could vaguely see the orange patches.. I tried to capture its beauty outside. But it's a restless soul, never rested on anything. In the end, after following her flying around 3 gardens with my eyes, I gave up.

I think I have about 6 of these beauties.. Now that I have become used to them, I quite like them!

Ah Alps I was thinking of posting some flower/ garden pics this evening but.....
1. yours are so brilliant
2 I'm not good at photography
3. My camera is very basic and doesn't zoom in well, that's not an excuse ..... honest, I've been told this by my 'experts' ( hubs and sons:D)

So I think I may let your thread down if I do:D:eek::D:eek:

Haha! Don't be silly.. I saw your bottles and trays. There is nothing wrong with them. It's not a competition. There's another thread for competition .. Don't worry about it if you don't want to post.. But you might be addicted once you start .. A serious warning.. Tomorrow, I will go to take some photos of rhodos in a nearby park and hope the Mandarin ducks will be there. My photos are not that good. Mark56 has some stunning ones.. but it's nice to know what is blooming around and what others enjoy in their garden or anywhere else.. or how people compose a pic.. I wish I could capture that restless butterfly .. There was another one out there as well, but when the camera was out, it's gone!:cry::cry:
