Alp, take cuttings of salvias...still do that now

Definitely will do that. But some greggii have been playing up and the stems are very weak. They all shrivelled up after 3 days as cuttings. Drastic measure has to be taken. They will go into trough where their limbs will be clamped down ..

Just got back from the opticians, i need to have 2 pairs of glasses, one for reading. I could have had bifocals, but think that they would be hard to get used to. The other thing, i've got the first sign of cataracts, especially in the right. Review it again in 2 years time.Asked me if anybody in the family got it. I said no.

Not nice weather here so far..
....dropped some plants off at local Age Concern incl a couple of heliotropes in full flower and scent . I remember my mum loved seeing flowers so hope they will cheer up the folks there

Split a peace lily, bargain buy for £1 and comes with a ceramic pot. They have now been housed in 3 pots. Well chuffed. Hope they save me from the evil airs
