Glad that at least you like it, @BigC Maybe the bottle of wine hasn't worn off. Hehe! How's the pain, poor boy?
Decorating...and dozing...not a great combo but at least I got the ceiling finished....Still in pain (numb kinda pain, ever present, pretty annoying and debilitating at times) anyway we must soldier on.
I framed the TV console (pics later) made a few pictures from some IKEA frames I had forgotten about, ( just cut some wallpaper samples and slotted them straight in, very effective) Frame were only £3 each so they are for nowt really. Pleased with those :)...need to make a lamp...I'm thinking Steampunk industrial...not everyone's cuppa tea but you should see how much these metal forms sell for today and so simple to make.

I have never laughed so much for a long, long time. So clever and so neat and so cool...

You really have a very arty flair.. and your hands can turn ordinary things into magic. What a good idea to have chives and mint restrained or trained like this. Or your garden will be overrun with the stuff.

Have you got a blog or a youtube video channel somewhere, @BigC ? You should do.. I for one will subscribe .. I'm a youtube junkie..

You should get your children to do it. My son didn't even know what rosemary was. But every Sunday, we did a roast chicken before he went back to uni, he had to learn. You must delegate or have they all flown the nest. Take it easy and don't overkill. You might live to 100. Look at the gardener on Friday's programme, he's 97. My neighbours aren't even that age, one has been confined to bed for 10 years, wearing nappies, another can't walk, another totally deaf and his alarm went for for days on end.. Enough to bring tears to my eyes.. Look after yourself.. don't overstretch yourself. Pain can be very depressing..

For me, it's harvest time, I have had about 12 of these squashes, sold 3 or 4 in bootsales, gave 3 away and ate 1 and in the process of freezing one. Here are the other 3 and still some more in the garden

I know, but once you cut it, you have to hurry up eating! It's like we have to eat it every day for one whole week. I only planted 2 of them.

Been clearing one border to put the wallflowers in. Pulled up the snap dragons and noticed the edge of the lawn needed streightening. The soil was dry, didn't have time to put wallflowers in, good thing, because it poured down of rain,it should be better for the plants.

Exactly. You're so lucky to have rain pouring down. If you plant your wallflowers tomorrow, the rain will give them a good send off!
