@BigC When we were cooking vegetable curry, we coughed and coughed. Before long, we cried and coughed and choked.. I sort of know how you felt. I saw your time 1am when I got up 4am. Forgot that you had to watch an Irishman getting rich .. by let flying a bit of saliva and blood ..

Love the name Diablo, but with Caroline Reaper, you must come up with something more sinister and pungent, piercing and lethal ..:D:p

@johnny canoe I bet the special beauty enjoyed sitting on your soft hand.. Haha! I have birds screaming at my bird feeders, but only sparrows and they emptied my feeders FAST! So nice to be so close to nature ..

Bought another salvia and a very delicate pink dahlia - a gallery series but not as stunning as the one I killed two years ago. I also bought a heuchera Paris all under £7.

I "collected" some seeds wherever I went. Went to Cornwall and collected Welsh poppy seeds and now they are everywhere. Must be some kind of revenge ..

Love the name - widow maker .. but don't forget the champion of chilli eaters WAS A WOMAN! Haha .. we beat you .. Amazing as that girl was white, not the other races who are more used to eating chillies.. You lot must be masochistic!

Like your recipe and now I have 4 chillies, 2 pointed sweet peppers.. They are still very small. I might dig them up and put them inside.

@Logan you seemed to have forgotten to say something to @johnny canoe !

Good morning to a very hot and glorious Essex. Just potted up 7 pots of hellebores and the leaves left my arm with a bit of irritation.

Going to be a hot day. Some snaps from yesterday and today.

some biggish tomatoes, but the weather has taken its toll

I screamed with delight when I saw this this morning.. All the time, this pathetic plant with bud stared at me, as if struggling to flower. I knew it's some kind of hibiscus. This morning, hurrah .. it has finally flowered. @Zenj I hope you think I've done a good job.

Just so taken with hibiscus Trionum when I saw it in Powys castle.. a lovely place .. and I have sown so many hibiscus - hibiscus trionum, hibiscus mutabilis that I can run a hibiscus factory.. I bought some more seeds for trionum on top of those kindly sent to me by our lovely @zenji This morning the sight of a perfect hibiscus trionum really has made my day!

OK, cheeky! Wouldn't it be nice to live by the seaside provided that there's sand to sit on.. which I bet you can do!

Today, I have had toxic fumes. The mentally challenged have returned from holidays ..
