My stomach is churning still, a bit. Buying a house is such a nightmare.

I know what you mean, I remember waiting for closing day...had a baby the day after so we were already adjusting to the new lifestyle, my life was very hectic for 6 months after I moved into the new home, but also very exciting

That's must be quite traumatic. To have a baby so close to moving. Glad that you have a place to call home.

Went to view some houses. These people are so ignorant and the whole house smelt like a chimney! I was there for 5 minutes and asked to go out to see the garden straight away. So odious. I came out after 15 minutes and my coat stank ciggie! Not nice.

Not until I have the money can I feel settled. One more house to see tomorrow.

Found it, but it is covered with decking. I have headache just thinking about the decking. It takes up the suntrap and is a white elephant no less.

Wish I had got the one in Upminster. £350K, new with extension and a garage and a garden of 106 feet. Alas, it's gone! Saw a bit of Escape to the country and was really jealous of the couple who bought a rolling 6 acres with a bit house and a massive kitchen. Amazing!

Good morning to all. Went to bed straight after my post. Sorry, Perki!

I'm moving out, either to Brentwood or Basildon or even Benfleet. All up in the air. I know there is a bungalow with a big piece of land still waiting for me. The one with a huge area of decking. But I love a semi detached overlooking green area in Brentwood and one in a nearby slummy area. Very nice. I would like to move within this area, but we have to downsize to a very unpleasant area or one with very small garden. I will have one more viewing tomorrow and I will go with a tape measure and I will report back how big the decking is.

Yesterday, the weather was glorious - sun shone so brightly and it was very warm. Regretted not hanging my clothes out for the sunshine and winds to dry.

Glad that we have been having so much rain. Need to go to Homebase to get some plant pot trays.

Went out to view a house. Garden a bit small and location not that brilliant. Have the feeling that it will go at no time.

Then went to another one with a garage and a 3 bedroom (not even a 2 bedroom) and a heartless estate agent advised the vendor to sell at £300k. It could easily fetch £325K to 350K. Very heartless indeed. Had my heart set on a £350K house as it looked so nice and backing on the field. Before we got out of the car, son pointed out that it was next to A12, a very busy road. Oh, dear! Another dead in the pan!

Woken up by the heat, thought the radiators were on. Had to shred some paper and saw the legal document sent to me by a conveyancing and might read it again before chucking them. I hadn't instructed them, but they sent me reams of paper. Feel so sorry for the trees.

The paper shredder was screaming at high pitch, felt so sorry for the son who is sensitive to all noises.

Yesterday, I tried to do a stock take of my hellebores. It was a nightmare. They are pinks with some dots, some with pointed petals, some round, some like a star. No way to tally the lot. Not very happy with their looks as I think they have a bit of disease now they are stuck in a tiny pot. It took me days to separate them and their roots are like huge skull with wild hair.

Can't catch up with this couple. Pulled out twice and we haven't even started the game.

Another viewing and I was shocked to hear the couple paid 2.4% for selling the house via Foxton. Certiainly pricy. Was supposed to see another house. After losing the offer, I can't be bothered to waste people's time.

A lady living nearby bought my Wendy's gold, saving me paying commission and postage. So much the better.

One good news, Perki, is that I have ONE galanthus flowering for me for me to get excited.

George Elwes - er, the slug had a taster though.

A very long beauty. As for my other investment, I am afraid, as Monty said, buy from reputable company! Not Fleabay! Very, very happy.

My snowdrops are coming up in nice little clumps , they just got their little white heads appearing :) its been nice and warm today felt like spring.

Just bought a camera off ebay , I hope all goes well they have zero feedback but seem genuine messages back and that, I think paypal or ebay are holding the funds cause on my side it says payment pending / processing , its was one of them listing which seemed to good to be true so asked a few questions seem fine and with the buyer protection from paypal I bought it, see if it turns up now

Thought I may of broke my finger earlier , trapped it between a wall and the gravestone I was moving ( gravestone fell over ) , its swelled up instantly like a balloon, its still swollen now but not as much but bruising up now, good job it wasn't my seed sowing finger ;)

Oh, dear! Hope you use some antisceptic. One can't be too careful. About the camera, as long as the seller is still trading, it should be OK. If not, there might be trouble. You need to test it thoroughly. Even Amazon does not pay you money back if the seller goes bust. Perki, you're taking a bit of a risk. I remember some hoya seeds which turned out to be cleomes and even more than half a year later, I got the money back as all the traders are still trading. But one British one was especially nasty. In the end, he paid up. Ebay didn't want to know.

Yes, a very nice and bright day today. This morning there was a hard frost. Funny thing was that another person from the same area as the lady who bought my Wendy's Gold asked to see if he/she could get the Wendy's Gold dropping by. I am glad that I didn't have to go to the post office and by the time I paid all this and that, it was nearly the same money. Perki, you could think about buying and selling snowdrops and seeds, especially small seeds. They are dead easy to send. Pay for my lecky. Going to bed now. Good night, everyone!
