Definitely fine them. Another annoyance is when people park crooked / at an angle within a parking space. You either have to park crooked too or... sit there because you can't open your door :mad:

Thank you, @Perki ! Now I know I cut my brunch of tubers too short. Need to clear the soil off tomorrow and might even plant it out again. Here in East London, they overwinter easily.

Talking about number plate, saw a Murder Detective episode in which an entomologist was involved in pinpointing the exact time of death of a victim, his number plate was MAGGOT! So cool! :D

Good morning - typing in the dark and got up at 5.30am. Going to do a big laundry round tomorrow and clear out the garage. Will take some cotoneaster and apple cuttings today and clear the rotten dahlia branches.

As some of you know, I have been a magnet for mossies and I read this article and I totally agree with the method to prevent being kissed in the first place

What can you do to reduce being bitten?
* Wear insect repellent with DEET

* Wear long-sleeved shirts

* Wear bright clothes

* Avoid dusk and dawn

* Switch on the fan

* Empty clear water containers

The days I was bitten were when I wore a skirt at dawn. Gee, they went for me. I still have warts and lumps and itch to show for their close encounters. One bite in the middle of my right arm was only eased when I scraped off the itchy raised dead skin 3 days ago and the bite happened half a year ago. I still have another itchy wart at the end of my right elbow. Wonder if these itches are sign of being old! :eek::D:banghead::inpain:

Morning all :D

All set for another lovely day.......we're definitely being spoilt by this gorgeous weather. It will hit us hard when winter eventually arrives.

I was shattered after yesterday's gardening , we were at my Dads by 9:30 and didn't get home until almost 2pm. After a quick lunch we then did a big tidy up in our garden too, didn't finish until 5:15 ( it became too dark to see) ....sooooo many leaves, ite nice being surrounded by trees but...:eek: !!! We have several huge Oaks that are still loaded with leaves, they're always the last to shed them.
Have a great day everyone:)

Oh, dear! All the hard work must have worn you out. Perhaps, slow down a bit. 5.15pm!:eek::cry:

Please slow down, @Upsy Daisy ! I did nothing but googling Buy to Let companies and their hidden danger! Because of no offer from the other couple, I had to stop looking at houses. All very sad.

Crikey, you've got so much to do. I have removed my beloved peach tree (best white flesh sweet and juicy), but it had died and trimmed the lovely greengage tree which I mistook for a damson??? and the juicy yellow plum trees. The latter 2 stood here with 1 prong each! :rolleyes::LOL:. So I have had no leaves to collect. Sometimes, I think gardening entails too much hard work - getting rid of oriental poppies can fill up all my compost bins.. and I haven't subscribed to the green bin collection, so I ended up with 8 bins and very little compost to use as I just pressed and pressed to get more room from my bins:rolleyes:. I can quote people the best method of making compost, but I never follow it as I just need room for the rubbish. LOL!

Just finished digging. Thank heavens it is not cold. @Upsy Daisy - I'm 1/3 of a fair weather gardener! Today, I will make it whole, because of your inspiration. Now, let me send my errand boy to post something for me.

Now not to be concerned alp, it's a self propelled snow blower, all I need to do is steer. lol
As far as going into acting, perhaps if I run the snow blower wearing nothing but a loin cloth and flip flops, it might be worth you popping some popcorn.

Yes, a loin cloth or au naturel! Fine by me. I need a bit of diversion or probably cartoon. Humans including myself are doing my head in!

Did an hour of repotting. Going to do roasted dinner and then carry on outdoors. It's lovely and sunny! Et Je me fous du passé!
