Looking at Logan's seedlings, I want to find a hole to hide, I am sooo rubbish! Can't even show my salvia seedlings to Mark as mine is like a sick joke! LO
If you can put them somewhere with more light, a light windowsill and turn them every day. When it's time to pot them on, bury them a bit deeper, they won't look so bad. Geoffrey Hamilton said that.

I am already surrounded with tons of areca plams x 3, Sansevieria x 2, ZZ plants x 2. Yes, of course, my window seal is facing west, above the radiator, I should just do that. Just sown aubretia seeds and kept some seeds for next year. In a polystyrene tray. Need to catch up with you. I need to reduce the number of pots to half. Don't know how. But need must be. Just watched GW repeat. There was some lovely dark violet penstemon and a dark purple clematis. So lovely and the stipa is pulling my heart strings.

I re sown my parsnips with fresh seed. Because the temperature has risen a bit, i've sown some more flowers
The apricot daisy calendula is 8 in. I've did a second sowing of the antirrhinums, can't have too many.

Well done! I sowed ragged robin last week and just now I sowed

Sadly, it's an annual. I might keep it in the house, just as I did lobelias.

Also some salad leaves. Logan has stolen a march over me. Where are you going to sow the salad seedlings to, Logan? Pots or ground?

They still look nice.
Annuals are still lovely, all mine are annuals. I'll keep the salad leaves seedlings in the same trays, after i've done a few harvests I'll chuck them in the compost bin and start again.
There's a young couple across the road, they don't know anything about Gardening. I explained about the wallflowers are biennials and after they flowered i throw them away, they said really, you throw them away. They couldn't understand. They think gardening is putting a bit of weed killer over the chipped slate that they call the front garden.

They might be very interesting people in other aspects.

They might be interesting in other aspects. Some people don't like gardening at all. They say they will kill any house plants. Oops, forgot to sow my chillies.

yes they're alright and very nice couple.
They're too busy to do Gardening. Yes don't forget your chillies. I've kept some of the old plants from last year and ordered 4 hottest chilli plants from a place called the world of chillies. They should come soon.

Another reason to hate the slugs

Footy player, 28, who became a paraplegic after swallowing a SLUG as a dare at a 19th birthday party

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5467925/Sydney-rugby-player-paraplegic-eating-slug.html

Crumbs! I wish I hadn't eaten the beef steak so raw now!
That's terrible. Dogs can get lungworm from digesting slug and snail eggs off the grass. It kills them.I worm them every 3 months with a special worming tablets, have to get them from the vets.

Good morning to all :D

Is everybody OK? Logan - is your boiler back in action? This morning we had no heating on as the little Honeywell went into lock mode AGAIN! Son sorted it out.

What a night! In the middle of the night, son made a lot of noise and I was annoyed. He came down and told me that there were explosions up the road. To cut matters short. The neighbour's neighbour, a very decent bloke with a construction business, suffered explosions, TWO, to his cars. He had a beautiful low front yard wall with lovely gate which is locked at night. Son said that it might be caused by petrol bombs. One attempt had been made to steal his BMW X5, which was thwarted by neighbour's dogs' barking about 2 years' ago and he was very grateful to his neighbour. The explosions happened before 3am. Son think it could be petrol bombs thrown at minutes' interval. The neighbour's twins were up doing whatever they are doing and they were telling stories to the firefighters. One good thing was that this is a busy road to supermarket, albeit a small one, and a bus driver called the fire-fighters straight away. I wonder if this was mistaken identity or he had done some dodgy works. Hope this house sustained no damage. He's a nice enough fellow who has never been declared bankrupt or talking away with others' money. Or it could be a case of mistaken identity as none of us have a number to our houses except my elderly neighbour.

No not yet, waiting for somebody to phone between 8 and 10 this morning to arrange a time for today.

Good thing that your son is with you.

That's terrible what happened, it could have been for your neaghbours drug making. As you say they got the wrong one. Also the Kray twins were probably trying to cover it up.
