Klopp lives just down the road from me he’s renting Rafa Benitez house it’s an area called caldy all the houses are 5 million plus very posh there’s lots of footballers live there saw John Barnes in Iceland few wks ago use to work in alderly edge macclesfield have cooked for all of Man City players and man untied players there all very arrogant and think they are better than everyone els makes no difference to me restaurant manager used to right VIP on there food order use to drive me mad

Klopp is stupid not to buy a house here! Rafa Benitez spent this money on his wife's bags, so I heard! Lovely marriage it sounds. Liverpool is doing very well at the mo. Hope they lift the cup for once ..

But did you read how lousy the training facilities and toilets in Man City were?

Can't blame your restaurant manager though!

Good day to you all. Has to be off. Dreading the parking queue already!

That reminds me of my late mum @Leeski !:ROFLMAO:
We also have footballers in our area too, and one day my mum was standing by the kitchen window and saw this guy walk by with his dog....who promptly did it's ' business ' at the entrance to our driveway. The guy began to quickly walk away......until he heard my mum hammering on the window!!:ROFLMAO: It was the late and great Alan Ball, who lived just around the corner from my parents :)

Envy your day out @alp.....but not the queues:( Wonder if you might bump into @Mark56 ....didn't he mention that he was planning a trip there too? You both should wear a matching flower button hole, so you can spot each other:LOL::ROFLMAO:
Now that's an idea!!! We should all jointly decide on a flower and whenever we go to such places wear it somewhere on our person....then we would all recognise each other.
Just think of the fun we would have trying to 'guess the user name'
:LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO:
Would definitely add extra giggles to the day!!!(y)

Hi, everybody, in the dark room or growth light!

@Leeski The light is fab ..

I have had a most enjoyable day. I was emptying out all the pockets and envelopes to tidy up my rubbish from the trip. It's such a shame that my camera battery was low and the day was on the grey and cool side. The hibiscuses were hibernating, refusing to unfurl their glories. Apart from that, it has been a fab day.

We were lucky that we took a turn instead of going our usual way and stumbled upon Wisley's latest pièce de résistance - The Wisteria Walk

First up Cyclamen under an old tree right next to the entrance

Abutilons next to the building. Really like them!

The Wisteria Walk - have no idea how long it has been there. We went there 2 years ago after son's graduation 2016 and it wasn't there. Going to be beautiful. I have they have white and purple. But it says there will be two Japanese cultivar Kimono and Kokuryu!

It was a very good day as it was cool and not very busy at all. I was amazed at the number of stalls there were. 3 or 4 times more than those in Hyde Hall. Son said that a lot of people pulled out in Hyde Hall. I reckon the stall fees must be quite high. A lot of people were taking orders on the spot. I wouldn't bother. In fact, I didn't buy anything at all. One young lady was holding a Sanguisorbet Blackthorn which was marked £10 and she said she was going to have a look at ebay. It's all right at ebay, but they come to you very small and there is very little chance of seeing any flower even in the 2nd year. I like the tall one as it was so airy and tall.

This must be a hot area.. Wonder what this yellow beauty called. I have found some very pretty fuchsias. No idea if this is one!

Abutilon - Mine have been killed by some critters which kept rubbing its body against it. Very annoying. Bought them 3 times and they died on me because some critters rubbed the life out of it. The other time, my fault - not enough watering.

First time I have seen these canna seeds

Beautiful fuchsias. So glad that the colours come out all right despite the gloomy weather! No sun at all for the first part. Stop here or you will be bored.

@Mark56 Hope you enjoy Wisley on this thread! Haha! Right at the end, I wish I could hail a buggy, but no! I was OK walking from 9.30 to 2.30pm until I had to scale the rockeries ..I have to say, Wisley is the BEST amongst all the flagship gardens!

What have you been doing today, @Upsy Daisy !

HI there @alp , cut back , divided, weeded, chucked out and generally sorted out two more borders today, Also repotted my orchid and a peace lilly . At least that's 3 borders tidied now but still have many left to do, but will leave them for a bit longer as plants are still blooming away in them. Next jobs after this will be planting out the Wallflowers, Bellis, Pansies ,Primulas and my big bag of( mixed up:D) bulbs .....oh nearly forgot, must lift the summer bulbs ( and get them mixed up:D) too ,
