Glad that my son who does street photography is out of the country at the moment !!

Just when you think it's safe to go to Nottinghill carnival

Only have a few at the moment as they suffered in the heat, but I must say they are coming along nicely now. Give it a week and I might ( only might) have some new pics to post.

In the meantime I will look through my Aug pics and see what I have apart from my avatar one

I would be very worried if my son did that. In fact, nowhere in London is safe! So many gangland activities.

Oh we worry !! He travels abroad and does the same . He plans his holidays to make sure he can take some alone as he finds going with others hinders his photography plans. He's in Berlin this weekend and in New York next month. When I said ( as Mums do) ' Oh ! be careful in N Y !!!'..... his reply was ' living in Hackney is worse Mum'....very true about all of London sadly now

What is your son's favorite camera make please? Would like to buy one! Not that high end, but would be nice to find a good replacement.

Had rain from 9am to 3 pm, some of it was heavy.

West is west is so boring compared with East is East. I changed son's duvet to 13.5 tog. Judging from the temperature, summer is over

And I am feeling the chill.

I heard from the voice over that Bodyguard is supposed to be very good. Keeley Hawes has been in quite a few good TV series, so I might watch it. Age before beauty is just shockingly bad, especially the old lady, with her face plastered with wrinkles and a bit of botox. I just couldn't bear to watch it.

My hands are freezing Playing Mahjong on my tablet, hubs is scrolling through the tv programmes.. can't find any to watch and now keeps nodding off
Going to make some hot chocolate......winter is here...almost Might catch that on IPlayer some other time....not in the mood to watch anything now.

I nearly wanted to hunt for a pair of woollen socks. I bought quite a few in the bootsales and they were from M&S. Very good quality. But now they've got holes. I was so cold, I have just finished a cup of hot water. There is nothing to watch on TV, so I switched on the laptop again. Can't blame your hubs as there is nothing worth watching. All rubbish! Normally, I would be watching Medical Detectives. They had Killer couple and the story was so horrific that I didn't want to watch it again. Man being blackmailed for money and buried alive! How cruel is that?

West is West is boring. Age before beauty full of faces which put me off! Well, summer is OVER! Like a damp squid!

Trouble is that we had got use to higher temps......now the normal ones are hitting us hard.
Yes I've put socks on too.
Hate hate and....hate feeling cold Hubs checked over the heating today in readiness for winter........how depressing is that !!!
