:(Someone turn the tap off

I wish I could take it off you. The rain that I have had was like drizzle, not that much and it sometimes even stopped altogether. Now it looks like it's dying!

Tidied the kitchen and most of the lean to and drenched the peppers in water and lifted them to the highest point of the shelf so they can get more light. Obviously, very little heat to speak of.

Finally the salvia uliginosa has flowered. Yes, it has pathetic little flowers, but the blue is OK! Nothing beats my salvia Patens though!

I think we should of saved our inflatables from our holidays  torrential since 10.30 with winds, I don’t have too many hopes for anything standing tall in the garden now

Oh, dear! I have hardly any wind at all. Mind you, last time, it was only one gust of wind and my Salvia Amistad had to be laid on the lawn like a brolly!:rolleyes: Did even hear it coming! But today, there has been very little wind and very steady drizzle and fine rain.

So sorry for you, @Mark56 ! Good news is that you're better! Hey, that's got to be good!

Think its stopped raining now but the wind is picking up a tad. Cosmos are a bit flattened, but will probably spring back up ones the weight of the water on them goes.

They did warn that coastal areas will have strong winds. But where Mark56 is couldn't really be described as coastal nor you, Upsy. I have had no wind. I have taken precaution though. I huddled my tall plants together and parked my Cornus rubra behind a bush. .

How big are your dahlias? Have you posted in Gemma's thread? I so want to look at them closer. I'm really hungry. Son's not home for lunch. The temptation to have noodles was huge - like an URGE! But I wanted to save money, so a banana and the skin went into make a potash feed, an apple and now I'm so hungry! Pork is being roasted.

Had a look at the temperature chart - going to be cold 20 to 23c - Need to find some heat for my plants.
