Oh goodness......must show this to hubs! He's always saying that we could do with some. Whenever we see an extension being built he threatens to stop the car and ask for the soil that's been dug out for the foundations.........I go mad and say ....Noooooooo !!!

For adults to have shingles could be a life-threatening experience. Once a man to whom I was a group secretary had shingles and the head said it could be very dangerous. He recovered and all was well!
Yes I know 2 people around here had it and recovered. If you've had chickenpox it can lay dormant for years.:)

Good for you alp, hope you get your top soil. :)

Been watching youtube anyone remember Maureen Evens? Had 2 45 records from the 60s. Haven't heard them since the late 70s. But still remembered the words, they were called, like I do, starlight starbright and acapulco Mexico.:)

Don't think it's that good now as the advert was 12 days ago. He said I might have to separate some. I need to dig up quite a bit of hellebores and need to mix a lot of stuff and it will cost me an arm and a leg.

Just now, I got the fright of my life. I add some accelerator to the incinerator. Chucked a match to the creased single ply newspaper and it went BOMB! I didn't know that it wasn't kerosene. It was petrol and it was only a tiny bit. Some creased newspaper got chucked out by the explosion. I was horrified. I could have been burnt if I had put a bit more! I really have to be very careful!

I always commented that idiots played with fire pouring petrol on fire. There wasn't any fire, but earlier a tiny bit burned a bit and went out and there was a bit of smoke. It was only when I threw the match into the incinerator that the loud noise broke out with an explosion, throwing newspaper and a bit of stuff on the ground. :(:shame:

My chillies are very slow this year. Haven't got many fruits, only flowers.

You probably need some seaweed to feed them.

Oh @alp, I've just come back on and read your post!!!!!

How very scary for you, you must be suffering from some after shock, I know it's a lot nippier now but make sure you keep yourself warm and have a nice cuppa.....shock can suddenly hit you. Is your son home with you?

I know, @Upsy Daisy ! I never expected the thing to bomb. It literally exploded. Before, we used kerosene and the fire nearly took off and we could add on top on the spot. And usually I was very good with it. This time, I had no idea it was petrol. Thank heavens it was only newspaper. But even the bits exploded were dark and totally burnt. I'm OK now. I must be very careful from now on. Ex did say petrol was more dangerous!

So glad you're OK......it's so scary how these things happen in a split second. Accidents happen so easily ,but thankfully you've escaped unscathed and wiser. :)(y)
