Looks good @Zenj .......never attempted growing spuds before...but.. ( this is just typical of my attempts at gardening) ..recently I tried growing rose cuttings in a potato ( after a bit of reserch).....I am now the proud owner of two very dodgy looking rose cuttings..and two lovely potato plants that are lush and green!!!:ROFLMAO:!

I think there are different tastes even to BLUEberries. The Sunshine Blue is sooooooo much nicer than Patriot and others. My sister loved the pink blueberries as well. She recommended them to her relative on her hubby's side. But as usual, I defer to your higher level of knowledge regarding gardening, dogs and even itches!:D:D:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:!

Yesterday, after all the shopping, I realised that I had forgotten sudocrem again!

@Zenj Wow - Lovely harvest. I hope I have something like yours.

I told son to scavenge potatoes up the road and he came home and told me instead of buying the reduced ones, he bought brand new Redmeye (non existent name) potatoes. I had a look and said to myself, "The boy is clever!" 2 days later, roasted dinner with chicken and I peeled the best looking creamy skin big one, only to find big patches of brown inside . This repeated itself to 2/3 of the bags and some even came with holes. I had to take some photos and email the CEO. £10 voucher sent to me. But ever since, I don't want to buy any potatoes. Once bitten twice shy! So if you can fax them to me, @Zenj , I would be most grateful.

Same temperatures as here Alp, relentless isn’t it?! Chance for storms here over night and the weekend but not crossing my fingers. Had to venture to Costa where they had AC just to catch a break.

Good idea! When I am very hot, I go to Tesco and just loiter there! It's amazing how all the little blobs have turned into a brush in the latest weather report. Rain? What rain? Who has pinched our rain, @Mark56? Why are we ALWAYS MISSED! (Now, I sound like an advert for ALWAYS - sanitary towels!:eek::eek:) I have done nothing but MISS, MISS, MISS!

I wanted to plan something, but with window curtains double up, I can only see the screen. So I gave up.

Butterfly weeds - so glorious. Funny thing is that butterflies shun them and fleet around echinaceas.

Echinops in its happiest, I think! I never knew it had tiny little florets at the end of the spikes. It's like a GREAT DISCOVERY for me as I had never had one before!

Wow: 3 different colours on your zinnias! And I love the orange one most. You have had them for a long, long, long time, @johnny canoe ! Mine is still struggling to develop its petals. I am sure the heat will hurry things up.

Lovely dahlias. Hope you have posted in Gemma's thread. For some reasons, mine are full of leaves and they are wilting.

I also have a white spider like that! That's so ghostly.
