I was looking at a pump for the waterfall, I initially was going to go with a new solar powered model cheap as chips but they are pretty small and the functionality is intermittent according to weather conditions..Rummaging around I found an old pond pump its only 700 ltrs/hr but its controllable..that will do nicely...The only problem is I dont have any spare flexi-hose or fittings so its off to the Bay of Fleas to see if they can help me out.:ROFLMAO: Still working, still thinking and its stifling in this heat, fan on beverage in hand....

No, that's not fair. Bad enough that @BigC went into overdrive and now even plants want to annoy me!

@Upsy Daisy Is yours from the same lady? So far I have only got that one in flower and the ants have been crawling back and forth, forming a wound in the stalk.

The apricoty begonia has been cheered me up!

Yes she did and thank you for asking. She prefers cool whip.

Here are here gourd birdhouses that she put out in the yard. She gave the other half to friends and her sister. They are all keeping them inside so I am told. The intial group is in a thread called Okra Art.

The Andy Warhol has a bananafor scale!

Nobody was referring to your seniority @alp..I was referring to myself as a matter of fact....I like taking the piss out of myself...Its a sorry state if i cant...I like a drink there is nothing wrong with that many people drink smoke and be merry and live to a right old age as members of my family have done...Dont believe all the hype you are being fed by the lawmakers of this cotton wool society we find ourselves in those people that ate smoked and drank were the pioneers of this country and what made it great....take a look around at all these poxy laws being passed today you cant even say a word against people as they run and cry and play the victim card.....Now I'm in a bad mood  Cannabis was outlawed (because they couldn't contain a closed shop revenue stream) now its the wonder cure, it can be bottled and sold by GOVT....Where can I get some seeds.:ROFLMAO:

I was only joking! Now I AM in a bad mood, too! That's it! War is OUT, as Simon McCoy said!:p

Thank you, @DirtMechanic for cheering me up. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to your beloved BECKY for cheering me up. I love the one with green paint. Nests!? That's brilliant. I actually took some video of ducklings. Shame they were so far away and I had to put up with the foulest of smells to take the video.

I know you were ...Snap out of it, life is too short to be moody....You have a lovely garden as do all in this green space...I'm off to crack open a bottle of RED and enjoy the evening sunshine....with the sound of water bubbling in the background from the filter return to the pond...All the pond accessories are ordered up...I stayed away from the GC and life is pretty darn good in this micro oasis....but I do need a fern...@Perki recommend a small green fern for around a pond clump forming please...Catching up on GW...particularly interested in the Iris Collection.

Here's my video. The ducklings were very cute, but the stench of that stretch of water was hard to forget.

In the latest GW mag...12 different Salvias for £12.

I know nothing about Salvias but they looked really nice:)

What are they? Can you take a pic please? It's a bargain. Are they tiny plugs though. It's extremely easy to take salvia cuttings. That's why some of the stems in DIY stores have stems missing!. We have the weather for salvias, so you might as well have a go. They are worth it. But you either need to mulch them or put a dome over them in snowy times. They will survive. My Amistad has come back, but Black and Blue is a bit iffy! If they have salvia hotlips, make sure they are in a pot or they go crazy, if you're going for them that is.

Some lovely ones are Dyson's Joy (tons of pinkies, very pretty!) La Luna is a good one. Hotlips is nice. Royal Bumble, Nightmoth is mysteriously violet! Greggii can be salmon pink (these I think are the Salvia microphylla family)

Black and Blue is unique. Amistad lovely colour. Love and Wishes and Wendy's wishes share the same shape of flowers.

I am sure @Perki can fill in some names which I can't provide. Not forgetting Caradonna which is like a spire

With Blue spires, Sensation mixed. Some pink ones are rather delightful.

Oh, yes, Salvia Patens is one of my favorites

Ooop ,sorry @alp I wrote a relpy to your earlier post and thought I had sent it....

Haven't got the mag as it's my Dad's , so hectic with brother's move might not go over until the end of next week.....will take a pic when I do eventually go.
It was in the July issue....think the mag is in a sealed wrapper, so you can't even sneak a crafty peek in the newsagents ;)

@BigC that's looking great. It's dangerous going to gc's, because you always buy something.

@DirtMechanic those gourds look great and colourful.

@alp & @UpsyDaisy pics look great.

walked berry at 4pm and i was doing alright. I started talking to somebody digging the front garden and tripped up on the kirb. Wasn't Berry's falt. I wasn't looking where i was going. I've got 2 grazzed knees and on the palms of my hands and a slightly grazzed chin. But i was concerned about my right knee but it's fine, i can walk on it but a bit bruised.

Had a good time at Keith's this afternoon and been doing some die cutting.
Got a lot of cutting out to do that he had lying around in the chest of drawers that he keeps everything for his cards.
He prints all the things,i cut them out and stick on the card and gets left in the drawer.:)
