@johnny canoe

Whoa! Your peonies took my breath away! Stunning! Lovely hanging baskets .. I had the zinnia last year. But this year. No. I do have a very fragrant dianthus arenarius. Nice to see zinnias again and they will flower for a long time. Can I get some of your rain please? Thunder you can keep!;):LOL:

Now you need to learn how to paint, Johnny ! Thank you for sharing! I myself prefer water melon / galia melon or yellow melon! But it will be lovely to see your artistry, Johnny!

Hey, our cross-pollinator brigade has ONE MORE NEW RECRUIT! :LOL:

Thank you for showing the female and male differences! I need to have a look at my cucumber flowers.

Only one tiny cucumber. The rest are flowers.

Ventured out to the garden and everything is wilting. Tomorrow, we definitely have to clean the teak furniture and water the plants in the same process! Forgot to dust ash onto a spot where the new dahlias were. Now I have 2 stalks. :cry::cry:

I have never seen this peony. Wonder if they are peonies, but the leaves seem to confirm so. Funny when other people's flowers in bloom all across the country and the world. My peonies were finished long time ago.

That's a shame, @Upsy Daisy ! You would think zinnias were toughies! This year has been diabolical weather wise. Now this heatwave is going to kill a lot of my plants. My hellebores are now parting and showing the dirt. Never happened before. They grew like gunnera leaves and serrate cut my legs and arms when I harvest my seeds. But now, they are drooping sideway! Water, water, water please!

I really like eryngiums, especially superbum! But here in Essex, they just love the heat and self seed everywhere! They will jump to the front of the border, won't play 2nd fiddle and stand right next to the driveway.
