Sure its easy, just loosen the skin and rub chicken seasoning under it and a little on it.

Set up a grill, smoker at 300f and pop the top on a coke, gingerale or beer and insert into the cavity and stand the bird up and steady it. Then spray the skin with "I cannot believe its not butter" to begin and when you check on it about every hour. Cook until the thigh joints get loose. Also known as "Drunk Chicken" when using beer because the legs get loose at the end.
.

Must try this. All I did was lemon and cumin. Ex loved it. Today, no cumin, but tons of rosemary, home grown garlic and half a lemon.

Thank you, @DirtMechanic !

Yes you're right, got to be careful. I only use compost from the compost bins and used compost. Do get chicken manure pellets, but don't use them much.

I won't use any compost from the bin any more. It all ends up in weeds.. and I am so fed up with weeding.

Will use the chicken manure that I bought last year, Today, all the roses on the standard rose showed stress because of the lack of water and the heat. Will get up early tomorrow to look after all of them. So much to water ..

That's because you put weeds in that have gone to seed. I put those in the rubbish bin.

Thought you were not supposed to throw weeds in rubbish bin!

Evening been cloudy most of the day, raining this evening.

No gardening done today but for checking on watering. I still need to empty the troughs on the fence at the front.

@BigC I use quite a few different nursery's, I've had mostly very good service with all of them. I using tortworth plants at the moment, I bought some plants about 4 week ago from them and were pleased, asked for a plant not in stock and they did have one spare for me , made another order last night but asked for some Agapanthus navy blue which they didn't have in stock either , got a email saying they will order some in for me :) saves me postage again. I used macplants this year Very pleased again. Been a bit disappointed with peter nyysen last autumn and this spring with bulbs and plants, they have been normally quite good.

It be easier asking if I have used a certain nurery than naming all the ones I have used. I don't normally use very large companies for plant like Parkers - T&M ( except seeds ) , I prefer the smaller plantsman / women who tend to care more about the quality of the plants.

What do you want to know about grape vines ?

Good morning soil tillers.

What do you want to know about grape vines ?
Specifics on how you went about tending your vine from species to planting and all the general husbandry if its not too much trouble.
Thanks @alp
Well seeing as England were playing last night I came home at dinner time for some lunch and I cut the lawn...then when I got home from work I potted up the Black Elder and a Fuchsia "Tom Thumb" around the Geisha at the pond....a lot of work ahead of me in this area alone..I also planted out my Lupin seedlings and gave them the old cinder and ash mulch to deter the SS...This evening I will do some more...little and often as they say lol

I must say My black elder is looking very nice;). I trimmed it to the bare minimum and it's in flower now. I paid £1.50 for it. It's in a pot and yet it's doing very well in a very dry and hot patch of my garden.

It's clouded over, but no rain, not even a spit now!
