You have a hygenist?? You're so lucky. We used to go across the road to a Malaysian dentist who charges terrible rates, and now I have registered up the road. When they finished removing plaque, there was nothing to rinse the mouth with. I was AGHAST! Ever after that, I have not want to visit any of these dentists. My trusted hygenist is my sensodyne and Listerine. Even my shaking tooth has settled down.

It's raining and very windy too. Too cold and smelly in the kitchen, too cold in the lean to. I just sit next to the radiator, waiting for my roasted chicken to be ready. Seeds .. no another day.

Was thinking of buying some "free" seeds from RHS, but I have to buy collections of 5. Don't really like the whole collections as I have already have some of them. It's a waste of time in the end. Next time, I will write it big on the calendar as advised by @MaryMary so that I can more or less make sure I will get what I want.

You remember this one?

The label has been stuck to the plant from the day it arrived.

Today, it looks like this

Do you think they look the same as that in the label?

I must say it was breath-taking sexy! Very velvety and the camera has not captured the velvety sheen of this beauty!

@Upsy Daisy ! Hilarious that the same company invites me to Gardening weekend in WALES to see their hellebores and it is so secretive that even their own staff don't know ...

Just show how important labelling is!

We have a hygienest, I never used to go but I had a bit of gum desease and it was getting worse. I already had receiding gums since i was 25 so i thought i'd better go. The gum desease is a lot better now. I use the T- pee brushes to do inbetween the teeth before i brush them. I use aquafresh mouth wash. It's better to use a electric toothbrush, it gets more plaque off.

That's still a lovely hellebore, looks better than the picture.

Good morning, Logan. It's better to use Sensodyne and Listerine. I've found out that they are really useful in reducing pain. I don't rinse my mouth out any more. I used to. 3 months ago, a molar was moving, but after using Sensodyne, it is now totally painless.

Friend and I both agreed that the new dentist we have tried was not hygienic.

About the hellebores, to be sent two with the printed labels which look entirely different from the plants themselves is a bit of poor house keeping. I would go to my newly discovered haunts to see if there are new flowers opening. It's best to see the flowers in their flesh and it is an enjoyment.

Morning Alp,that's great about your teeth. I use Colgate sensitive Pro-Relief. That works for me and i don't rince my mouth after. I was told to use the mouth wash at a different time from brushing.
Also if i need extra just rub it on my gums, but i don't need to.

I agree about the hellebores it's best to see the flowers.

Yes, I was wondering what the point is when you've just finished brushing your teeth, you use Listerine straight away! Good point! The sun is totally out! Very nice day ahead. A lot to do!

Morning, how are you all doing?

Very sore back this morning, had an emergency call from my brother yesterday evening asking for help as he had fallen :( We managed to lift him but it's a difficult procedure as all his joints are so weak and very painful. I obviously didn't say anything but I felt my lower back go:(,

We've always had a hygienist....thought everyone did! Thought it was a normal part of dentistry appointments. I go every 6 / 9 months. It is quite pricey ( £68) but well worth it for a 40 min session.(y)

Trying to plan a restful day today, may do the grocery shop. Have a day at my Dad's tomorrow doing all his laundry and housework, so need my back to be better:)(y)

At least we have a sunny start to the day. Gosh! we had sooooo much rain yesterday ,some of our roads were flooded!

Have a Trouble free Thursday:)

Sorry that you had to lift your brother and that your back felt dodgy. Hope you look after your back first.

There is a brief video on how to ease back pain

Yes, we have full blue sky now and the lean to was 9c when I got up. It was heated by a candle, using terracotta pot. Then I left my hot water bottle in there this morning. Got quite a fair bit to do. So everybody take care and have a glorious day which will make your heart SING!

Thanks so much @alp :)

Yes I remember that too @Logan . But to be honest the job was never done properly, they just didn't have enough time in a 10 min appointment .......just a quick scrape and that was it.. Much better now!:) We have 2 different session grades , one ,a very thorough 40 min one , where they record the gum health around each individual tooth and check for signs of infection / oral cancer, plus the normal clean and polish. The 2nd one is just a 25 min clean and polish :) I alternate the sessions, booking 6/ or 9 monthly.(y)

Gorgeous day here to , only problem is that the ground is so saturated from the non stop downpour yeasterday:(

Have a great day!
