Haha! Good morning, Logan! Beat you this morning, but it's not worth it as I am freezing!

Because of the cold, I decided to have a laundry run as the ensuing tumble drying will warm up the lean to where most of my delicate palnts are. Tidied up cannas last night. As you predicted, they all live. So pleased that finally I will have some cannas flowers this year, Hopefully!

Just got back walking Barley, it's still dark but i feel that it's getting lighter. Good idea to do your drying. Great about your cannas. Hubby's going out this morning, have the house to myself, haha.
Have to do a extra walk but i don't mind, good exercise, haha.
Alp when does it get light over by you?

Nice to have the whole house to yourself! Now that I go on the exercise bike for about an hour a day, my sleeping pattern has been affected. The two nights before, I had terrible dreams on 2 consecutive nights and this morning I woke up too early. Now I just want to sleep again.

Earlier during the day and right before I go to bed. I really hate it as the saddle is hurting me all the time, but I need to save myself, so I space it out. Half an hour in the day and half an hour before bed. I need to place a sheepskin over the saddle. Very painful.

Oh dear.Give yourself time to wind down before going to bed. When i had physio i found that the saddle was hard and that was just once a week. Could you reduce the amount of time that you're on it? Perhaps you could get some gel padding for it.

I need to do it every day until my pain threshold is raised. Been a gorgeous day - sunshine for most of the day. Was out cutting off hellebore leaves and there were sooooooooooooo many of them. I'm running out of room to store the garden rubbish. I really hate starting bonfire or using the incinerator, but considering urine and toxic fumes from both sides, I don't need to be so nice.

Seen a lot of buds, which is good news and the bought hellebore seeds are popping their little heads.. How they speak to me!:D

@alp why do you need to increase your pain threshold? If you only need the benefit of 1 hour's exercise, couldn't you perhaps try doing 4× 15minutes......might prove less painful :)

Upsy: I might have put it wrongly. I need to numb myself a bit. As I have only started it this week, every bit hurts.. I might feel better next week.

It's hard work. So I have to force myself on it and tell myself that once the half hour is over, I will have achieved my goal. Should have taken to walking like you. But son needs to do tiles and skirting board at home and it's windy. When the sun comes out, we need to go out more, walk more. Have you seen any hellebore flowers? I think I have seen my Wendy's gold! Yes!

Try and get something for your saddle soreness. If it's like being on a horse,it should get better.:)
I'd use your incinerator, we're not allowed to burn anything here,we have to take it to be recycled. Sometimes i put it in the grey bin for the dustmen. That's great news about your seedlings. Have you got them inside?

I got my incinerator for free. An old one but perfectly serviceable. I don't like the idea, but too much rubbish. I will need to go to the recycling centre to de-clutter.

The seedlings will be OK. I have a nursery bed for them. If it's too cold, I will fleece them. I have put a sheepskin on the saddle. Wish my legs were longer.. Another reason why it has been painful..

Ah! .....Ok get what you mean now @alp(y)

We also have a power exercise bike ,you can alter the pace and resistance to simulate different environments.....going up a hill for example ( that's a killer!:dead:).The handlebars move as well in a rowing movement. Can get quite exhausting!!! Supposed to do you good:D:ROFLMAO::D:ROFLMAO:!

When i was on the bike at physio, i had to start at the low speed for 2 mins then build it up. But i didn't do 30 mins. Had to do other exercises.
Then finish on the bike to cool down. Can you adjust the height of the seat?
