Morning all
What a night horrendous weather thought the roof was coming off calmed down now . Will survey later after a good sweep up of all the leaves branches etc to see if any damage ,very little sleep with all the noise what a winter were having .

It must be doubly horrible your way! I could never imagine such a wild night. It's being pebbles being thrown against window panes and son actually removed a little table from the front to the house as he said it would be blown off. I haven't even been out to the garden. Seldom have we had such dreadful winds coming this way. Weather has been erratic and wet this year. I predict a bonanza of peaches and other fruits this year!

Good morning to all. It's raining and 7c is quite pleasant. Got a 5kg daff bulbs for 10p. In the end, I bought runnuculus, double tulip Angelique, Featherwhite indoor daffs - all 9 packets plus the big sack of daff for £1. Wish they came with a planter!

Yes, it's all a bit late for the snowdrops.. I have soaked them in tepid water to speed up the process.

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well today(n)

That was a brilliant bargain @alp, where did you buy them from?

A few bits now need to be cut back / removed around the garden as they are looking decidedly worse for wear now! Having managed to persuade hubs to leave some seedheads on for the wildlife.....now have to persuade him to help me remove them :D:ROFLMAO::p

Off to visit some friends later:)

Have Terrific First Thursday of the New Year!:D(y)

Got them from B&Q. A whole trolley of them outside the shop front. Anybody could walk home with them without paying.

A young couple came to the till with the same smile and they even got wooden crates, probably reduced to 10 to 50p and I hope their enthusiasm rubs off on their baby who's about 13 months. Now I have to hunt for my clematis macropelata seeds.. A bag in a haystack or mire accurately still, an ocean .:cry:. I'm sweating already..

Whilst searching for the blessed clematis seeds, I came across an RHS magazine and saw Cochicum Waterlily. It then dawned on me that it was the same packet that I saw in a certain GC. When I saw the packet, I asked myself what this nonsense of calling a Cochicum a waterlily was. They could have called them double beauty or double whammy and I would have bought it. Now, looking at the same flower, I want to kick myself as I missed a chance of acquiring this double whammy or pink chiffron.

Had a peep and a stare in the garden and saw a yellow neck for a newly emerged snowdrop! Sooooooooooooooo pleased! At least, I have got one!

:D Now I am more relaxed, especially I've found that precious packet of seeds.. The last place I thought where it should be. Relax!

I will go out to see my snowdrop - I think it is either Wendy's gold or Warburg. Either way, I am pleased and relieved. Will plant out my bargains today.
