Do your kitchen door open inside. It looks hilariously close to the kitchen. Good idea as it keep the heat in and as you say, don't have to go far. Those plants look so lush in the first photo. You don't bubble wrap it? Such a shame not to put anything in it. But I probably don't know how terribly cold it is. Think @johnny canoe has his heater on in his greenhouse. He has a massive furnace to keep his house warm.

Good morning to another dark morning. Not that cold. I thought it's raining last night. Then it dawned on me the fridge had been making funny noise. It might be going any time. We have had it for at least 7 years.

I really love my Bosch fridge as it has been very economical to run. Son just told me that we have had it since 2004 ie. 13 years after we had had a Candy since 1996. A friend told me that hers just stop moving and died on her. This one is now making raining now. It probably knows that I like rain..;)

For yours, thank heavens it's not an explosion which damaged something else.

Have you got a freezer compartment with yours?
Mine's a Bosch classixx. Thinking about it had it for ten years. Hasn't got a freezer compartment, the one before did. I always left it to the last minute before i would defrost it. It would be all frozen round the door of it,so i could't open it. One day i was a bit impatient for it to defrost,i got a knife and started chopping at it. Thought i could loosen it by opening the door. Broke the spring in it, so then it wouldn't spring back. Still used it for years after, until the thermostat went and it just freezed up. Haven't got one like that,so much easier.:)

Yes, Classic too. It has both a fridge and freezer. I always defrost once every 6 months. Once I was impatient too and pour hot boiling water into the freezer top bit. After that there has been little frost in the top element, but it's working. I'm worried that the next one would be that good. Nowadays, things are programmed to age and die. Look at Ipod touch battery. Nothing wrong with the thing, but the battery just spins and spins until you're so scared as it goes mental and spins out music all day and night.. Very nasty way to make people part with their money. I wouldn't buy one. But you have to admit that they are more or less a way of life for the teens.

Glad that you got your tickets' worth. Your grandchildren are so lucky to have you and you them. I want grandchildren too, but first he needs to find a girl... and it's going to be a long hog!

We are very humid here. Just wet ground and a lot of moisture in the air. No proper rain. Have to go out for a 2-hour physio. Can't get to the hospital unless I take 3 buses .. Nice place to have a physio .. so inconvenient to get to.

I have to cook another chicken tonight as my fridge is bursting to the seams with all the stuff. I still couldn't pull the bottom shelf out an inch. I am worried. Bought too much ..

Morning!

Defrosting....gosh that takes me back ,that was a job I always hated. Mind you I blame myself totally as I always left it so late and it had more ice that the Antarctic! We have had a frost free one now for many years, and only requires a wipe round.

Had a really great night out with my old school friends ......my face is aching as we laughed so much. Reminiscing about all the antics we use to get up too.....in an out of school!!!!!! Where do the years go!!:D:LOL::D:LOL::D:LOL:

Just a quick flick of the duster today....may take the hoover for a run round if I have the energy, and then .......our boys should be here!!!!:D. No doubt they will have a lovely gift for me.......their laundry!:ROFLMAO::D All part of the fun of parenthood(y)

Have a Terrific Thursday everyone:)(y)

Your post makes me laugh so much! I have an antarctic now in the bottom shelf and I can't pull the blessed tray open. The other two are all broken ..The plastic material is so broken.

Your sons are old enough to do their laundry.. So it's you who breed all the lousy husbands ...:LOL:..

Well, at least, they don't come empty-handed, of which I am sure! Enjoy their homecomings!
