Logan: guess what? I repotted them and then read that you don't need to repot them. Any way, I'm glad that I watched videos on youtube and learned about how to take care of them.

Good morning to all. Didn't wake up until 7.20 as I watched the mystery of Edwin Drood last night which ended 11pm. Quite an exciting film and a good one.

Thumb up to youtube as this lady has taught me how to take care of aechemeas. Interesting that you have to pour a bit of distilled water into the urn which holds the flower stem. Never heard of it and the roots are only for anchor..

We lost the Ashes again. Hope they don't do it every Christmas and New Year. Lost every single year almost .. Why send a bunch of losers out to dampen our festive season mood? Breaking News: Aussie regained Ashes .. It's groundhog day, not breaking news..

By Jove! What a nice surprise! Thank heavens that you didn't buy seeds as £4.00 might end up with nothing. What a unique flower.. Nothing similar! Nice that you could visit and buy them on site. I bought more bulbs and Farmer G is stuff in transit. I really love their stuff .. Thank you for introducing them to me. Shame I couldn't get the allium big bulb for £1 as they were out of stock by the time I found the following 10% code. Summerhill still wants £2.49 for a bulb.. Went to B&Q and saw new summer season bulbs or rhizomes and it is with great sadness that I have to announce they have NO NEW, let alone exciting, stock .. Same old, same old. I nearly burst into tears!

Now this is your "grand projet"! Exciting time ahead.
