If and when I have grandchildren, I will video their first day of seeing and feeling snow...

Don't think your grandchildren will be disappointed for too long, Zenji.

By the way, my osteospermum were still flowering yesterday. Need to go out to see my iris buds ..

Alp, memories!
When I first saw snow I shrieked, danced, squealed with delight and almost lost my little mittens. Would have spent longer out there but I had to go to work

I am telling you. I have planted

  1. Allium blue Caeruleum
  2. Blue Bell English (ah, I have a weakness for the natives and I bought them again. They looked like shrivelled dead wood)
  3. Black Parrot 18 bulbs ( I nearly cried plantiing the last pot.. toooooo many)
  4. Narcissus Ice queen or ice something (has a double ruffled crown)
  5. Maywood T with frilly bits
  6. Curly Sue Tulips with frilly bits
  7. Camassi alba 3 bulbs (real bargain)
  8. Camassi Quamash (I wanted to cry again 20 tiny bulbs)
  9. Narcissus fragrant ones with orange crown
  10. Erythronium White Queen

Might have missed something. But I was worried that they might be frozen tomorrow morning and all dead. In the end, I had to go out in the dark to wrap them up.. I will serve you chocolate with a cake if you come and plant my other lot ..

Pot them in a big pot. Too hard and cold to dig, @Upsy Daisy ! At this time of the year, you've so much going on, don't stress yourself. I am sure they will reward you with a smile. Shame I don't live near you - I don't mind helping you. You've such a big extended family. Keep well and healthy to you all!

I think it's like that - when you buy the stuff, you're very happy. When it comes to planting them, the happiness becomes a chore! THINK ABOUT HE BLOOMS ..

Good morning to you all and the rain .. I have let the water of two butts go. It's nice to have proper rain for a change. It's all dark. Don't think I will be going out.

Morning.....grey and nippy but still no lovely snow:(

Yes, I think I may just put them in a pot now as I have left it a tad too late @alp(y)

Had lovely day with friends yesterday and then braved a quick visit to IKEA to collect an order.....pure manic!!

Just off now to visit my Dad and baby sis , she is down for a couple of days and we haven't seen her since we took her back home. Ups and downs for her but still heading in the right direction:)(y)

Back then to prepare a Sunday dinner before son's girlfriend heads off ,and then ( hopefully depending on the weather )might get to doing something with those bulbs!!:D

Here's wishing you all a Sparkling, Snowy Sunday!:)
