Hiya, upsy daisy .. A bit tired of the tec speak. I really love that sight. I have been looking for this pic for a long time. Thank heavens I have been to so many NT properties. Now that I am a bit of a cripple, walking around might not be so easy.. How's your day? Did you go up to London?

Yes, definitely milder 6 to 12c .. E7 finishes 7.30. Another reason I hate winter!

Yes, definitely, zenji!

Now I wish I had stuck vynl onto my lean to as the floor is now freezing cold. Just out of interest, I used 2 terracotta pots one covering another one, with a tealight in it. It is still going strong since 6.15am.. A little bit of heat coming out. Need to get some cardboards to keep the temperature up. Feel so sorry for my plants as it has been so cold.

A very good morning to you all, thankfully no frost here today either, I know it's sets a very picturesque scene..........but still not that keen to be greeted by it when I roll the blinds up!!

Still haven't got round to planting my tulips yet ,so that's first on the list after I've tackled the housework!

What's E7 about @alp ..never heard of it?

Have a Trauma free Tuesday (y):)

E7 is Economy 7. In summer time, it kicks in from 1.30am to 8.30am. In winter time, it kicks in from 12. or 12.30 (not sure) to 7.30am .. That means I need to do all my little jobs before 7.30am or else I pay more for electricity. It's hard work as I just managed to get up 6am and can't really do anything until 6.30 as son is still sleeping. (Give him half a chance, he will sleep till 9cm!) He did a lot yesterday, albeit very slowly. I have E7 as the house was heated by electricity until 3 or 4 years ago when I had gas heating put in.

:D:ROFLMAO::D:ROFLMAO:.......aah with you now.....thought it was a programme that I had missed:p

We have a similar set up too, but our times all stay the same....ours kicks in 10:30pm- midnight , 4:30am- 8am and finally 2pm-4pm. I do all my laundry, ironing , hoovering and even a bit of cooking too during these times......love the afternoon slot ..very handy:)(y)

What do you call this system then? I heard that people had E10. I wonder if I can have that kind of set up! Sounds very flexible and clever.. much more useful than mine!
