Wow!! What a difference a day makes! I posted ^^that^^ on Tuesday, when the bud was green with the faintest hint of pinkish color showing through the green.

Wednesday, I took this picture, but didn't get a chance to post it before work.

Since I didn't post it, and it looked different on Thursday, I took this picture to show you, but again I got distracted, and did not post it before work.

Anyone want to bet on how many days to fully opened flowers? :sneaky:

(I'm thinking two days on the top one, and three days on the lower..)

Aren't they lovely! Well, none for me this year. Two did have seeds. But I must have done something wrong. Well done, @MaryMary !

A member of another gardening forum notified me of this cash back offer for Wilko. I haven't tried it yet but have used the website for other things.

It's 100% cash back Wilko - TopCashback New and Selected Member Deal January Sale, Discounts, Codes & Cashback

May try it for Summer bulbs, fish blood bone & compost at £3 for 50L

Mark: Had a look and it says 4.04% which sounds about right. Let me know if someone is pulling your leg. Good and useful info.

I know I should have done this. I got delivery of these two snowdrops yesterday, but want to share them with you as next year, Mr Slug might have to kill my show. He has already put paid to one.

Diggory - Shame it came quite limpy, but you can see its distinctive blousy petals.

I think Mr Grumpy should be renamed Mr filthy Grumpy. Started out 11am and worked solid for 2 hours. Had lunch and out again and solid for 2 hours. I have cleared all the bamboos from the front and now I have about 20 bamboos, one clematis and some holyhocks and tons of grape vines. Might do the same tomorrow or sort out the back. It was so warm and very sunny after 12.. What a lot of difference sunshine can make to a day in the garden.

We didn't have much sun and was still cold. Did some more of the hellebores, my hands and feet were cold, but it had to be done today. Tomorrow will be raining. Hubby was working this morning,so had a extra walk to do.

Surprised as according to the weather report, your side was supposed to be sunny. I had a grey morning. Went out to work at 11am and 12 noon, sunshine was on and 1pm, we had lunch. A very nice and rewarding day.

Thank you, @Mark56 for the video. I will certainly watch it. You see, I tell my son that after my passing, these are his heirlooms. He tried to bid with me for a similar one on ebay, so he knows what these little bulbs might bring him. The flowers are so small that I don't think I have succeeded in doing cross-pollination. It's just for a laugh. I just love the crimpled texture of Diggory. I kept asking my son if he wanted some Dr Martens' shoes as I felt guilty buying all the tiny little bulbs for so much money, but he said no. Might get some more snowdrops tomorrow when I go and take another video at the feeding station in the gc. Just love it. It's the only proper gc that I go to nearly every week.

Good morning to another half rainy day. It's so dark outside even though it's nearly 7am.:cry::cry:

It's so much fun reading stories about snowdrops.. All the impossible prices, all the thefts .. Quite hilarious and sad!

-17c .. and wind chill -24c. That's shockingly cold. This morning at 9am, I think we have 8c and my toes were frozen. Had to change shoes in order to clear the front. Amazing that I was wearing short-sleeve.

Johnny, love your smorgasbord! I giggled when I heard the woodpecker making thumping noise at the suet block. Would love to see nuthatch sampling your other delicacies.

I had 5 fat balls out last week and now, they are all gone. Need to buy some more. Hopefully, I can get some notes tomorrow to compare with yours!
