Thank heavens that nobody dies in that extreme heat! A bit crazy to ask another human being to play under that heat for hours!

I've found my hellebores very slow this year. Most of them are still in bud.

A lot of mine are as well.

You know, T&M has free postage till midnight tonight. I really regret buying some reblooming irises from them. I'm dreading it. But I so want to have them and can't afford some other places. Now they have some so-called breeder hellebores which are sold as a collection. Bought them last year and still can't see any different BREEDERS' hellebores now. I must curb my desire. I wish I live near Derby. Would love to go to Ashwood nurseries.. Just to ogle ..

The video is a tad long, so you can watch it quicker with a faster speed. I was a bit unsteady and son did all the uploading, unlike the previous one which I did all by myself.

The birds with long tails look familiar, might have seen in @johnny canoe 's video. Anyone venture a name please!

Please turn down the volumne as the place is right next to a tube line and is very noisy. These gold finches are never soft or gentle like the blue tits!

Good morning to another half rainy day. Need to pot up my other daffs and tidy up the back of the garden.

But now that I have long tail tits to ogle and a lovely pond to look at, I can always go to Summerhill in Basildon. They store quite a good range of plants. Prices are less eye watering than those in Altons. Really is a lovely nursery!

Did a lot of the hellebores yesterday. An hour in the morning and 1 hour in afternoon. Woke up with a bit of a headache and my neck was aching to. I think i over did it a bit. Don't know what i'll do today.
