Hayloft is quite good and the prices reasonable. But I don't think you will get flowers for that money. But then I don't kind. I would like to feast my eyes on Harvingtons as they are the proper breeder. This year, I've found out that I have tons of white and pink singles. A bit disappointed. They are very slow. No wonder they charge so much money for a mature one with over 10 flowers. £13 easily and if sent from some nurseries £24. That's a bit expensive.

Got some photos yesterday. Not a lot.. Disappointing ..

This galanthus has inner green stripes on the big petals.

They're amazing. Hayloft is charging £7.00 for 1 plant. I'm not going to buy any, i was wanted to find out what colours there were.
They do take a long time to flower. I've got a double one at the back, but it's not fully out yet.

Oh, dear! Tennis is a cruel game - one man on the pitch for hours and in Australia 40c .. Ridiculous. I think Andy Murray will be out for quite a while., but at least, in him, we have found a world champion! Shame our boy went out. But it's a first step in the right direction. To be beaten by Cilic is no shame!

Blueberries you have to get a proper feed for ericaceous plants. Other fruit you can give wood ash or sulphate of potash in march. Choose a still day to do it, or it will go everywhere.:)

I've been out in the garden for half an hour, came in to warm up a bit, hands are a bit cold from the hellebore leaves being a bit damp. Had a coffee now going back out.

I added coffee grinds to blueberries and camellias. I actually bought quite a few miracleGro granules just for ericaceous plants. Very pleased. Go out to work when son is back from Medway. Very miserable today.

My amaryllis is getting ready to bloom!! It has shot up the stalk, and I see the bud, I'm just waiting for it to open! :)

Wow!!
What a difference a day makes! I posted ^^that^^ on Tuesday, when the bud was green with the faintest hint of pinkish color showing through the green.

Wednesday, I took this picture, but didn't get a chance to post it before work.

Since I didn't post it, and it looked different on Thursday, I took this picture to show you, but again I got distracted, and did not post it before work.

Anyone want to bet on how many days to fully opened flowers? :sneaky:

(I'm thinking two days on the top one, and three days on the lower..)
