I discovered that I just had to reach for the bottle, and say "time for your drops" I turn around, dog already laying on the floor with the correct ear up for the drops. I 'd give him the drops, massage the ear, tell him good boy. and up he'd be. all happy.
I used to have to clean moss's ears regularly when he was older and as soon as i reached for the cupboard he would run away and go to his dad.

I remember cleaning my boys ears. I would take a bunch of toilet paper bunch it up softly in a ball shape and put it in the ear , rotating it about letting the soft tissue form along the ear. they sat still and let me do it all. I did get dirt on the tissue.

5 weeks ago barley broke his nail on his right front paw, he broke it right up to the pad. Spoke to the vet and she said as long as it broke off cleanly it should be fine. I can't see it growing back as yet but it's only been 5 weeks. When he goes for his walk i put a sock on it and 2 small freezer bags. It's healed now so he doesn't need the sock and bags but in the house he starts licking it so he has a different sock on.

I know its a pain, @Logan when the dog hurts his paw like that. and all he wants to do is lick it, etc. and all you do is, over and over again, say --- stop it don't touch. LOL. I had a Dane once that slit his dew claw running into something, what a pain until it healed.

Thank you @Esther Knapicius I've been trying to find out how long it will take for me to see a nail growing back, one says up to about 6 months.
it should be healed in 5 weeks, give it a smell, see if it smells ok. if it smells like rotten eggs that's not good. I just wonder why he's still licking at it.

It's been 5 weeks and it's healed it smells ok,but no sign of any nail,he only licks it when he hasn't got the sock on.
