Yesterday we took Sasha the car to a near by park for a run. She met a new friend while there.

I could have cleared some motre leaves, but then there'd be as many more to clear tomorrow. So I didn't bother. Might clear some on Sunday.

I cleaned the car and then tackled my electric golf trolley which was "hanging" as the last two or three times I'd used it before this second lockdown, it had got very muddy. Then I cleaned my clubs and three pairs of golf shoes.

So now it's "all systems go!" or it would be if ever these restrictions end, I'll just have to practice my chipping on the back lawn for now.

I've been a bit busy lately, trawling on eBay I found this.

rotel 1.jpg

For the money I thought it would be an ideal back up for my Leak 2000 tuner/amp, through which and the equally vintage Goodmans speakers, I can if I choose, channel the audio from the TV and any of this lot under it.

either of these,

and my two jukebox wall boxes, via the iPods in the previous photo.

In my office.. Alright..... our tiny box bedroom, I've been using a little amplifier to play mp3s and the audio from YouTube videos on my laptop (and a few PCs before that) through a sixties jukebox wallbox's uprated speakers.

I decided I might as well use the Rotel (when it arrives later in the week) instead. But the shelf I'm going to use was an inch too short.

So I made new sides for it today. I've had to order a mini-jack to din plug lead, to connect the Rotel to my laptop and two, two pin speaker plugs (eBay, a fiver with free postage), to complete the job.

So I shouild be all systems go by the end of the week

That's the plan anyway.

@Sean Regan that looks great hope that it works.Hubby has his surround system to play music and most of all to watch films. We have Alexa echo dots around and he's put in a command to switch the sound system on and off, also to switch the light off because it's a smart bulb.

Have to bring up my Christmas star
Started to make the Christmas foods and put them in the freezer
Pigs in blankets
View attachment 73780
Oh, that is right, UK pigs in the blanket are different that USA pigs in the blanket. been on an international cooking forum for years. Funny little differences we have for the same name.

Yesterday, I broke down the Thanksgiving Turkey , simmered up the carcass for hours, tossed the bones. Have 4 cups of bone broth for freezer. after sorting through the meat will make up a Pot Pie from it, also for the freezer. Thank goodness its 34 degrees outside for the bowl of meat to stay, (no room in fridge). Also sorted my canned goods area, guess we won't starve, LOL.
