And today I have at last got around to recording and posting a new video to my Facebook page and to YouTube
There are over 50 stories on there now, most of them are my original stories, but this one is a traditional story, though I add bits.
Love that story. Your a good story teller. Thanks.

Curry's arrived around half-eight this morning.
I had the oven unpacked, installed, connected and clock set by 9.00am. without taking any lumps out of our now 18 year-old kitchen units.

I read no further than, "How to set the clock in the instructions, as it's not my department."
There's just two push in/pop out controls and the clock/timer is touch control, it's pretty basic, with seven functions as was the Baumatic

I'm glad I got it done early before it got warm.
Just got to register the two year guarantee on line.

Thank you, there are a load more on the YouTube site 'Oliver Buckle The Story Shack'. Most are my original stories, but there are a few traditional ones. Go to the site and click on 'Videos' for the full list.

Raining a lot here recently. Yesterday gave me a birthday gift for a 90 min. massage. Today a little house stuff. Then off to Amish farm for eggs, and some thrift shopping ---always looking for stuff for the Airbnb. Got some lovely pillows last week for $4.00 each, they washed up awesome, and the internal pillows were very high end, would have cost $30..00 each new. Have to get back to the Maine trip planning.

I'm doing a bit of "multi-tasking."

I'm watching live, the Canadian Women's Open Tennis final between Biatriz Haddad Maia and Simona Halep on my laptop and thecricket one hundred, between the Oval Invincibles and the Southern Brave on the telly.

The definition of this live feed on YouTube is superb.

Part of the reason my car was cheap was because it had a long scratch down four panels on the nearside. Filled and rubbed down, then sprayed a first coat. More rubbing down and spraying tomorrow if it doesn't rain, but it is looking better already, the car, not the weather.

Went to Moorfields eye hospital to get my custom made false eye. It fits better than the temporary one, it doesn't bulge and look 'Starey', and I can close my eye more easily, but they haven't got the colour quite as good, it's darker. They offered to take it back and change it, but it is a lot of work, they take a mold, take the front off, paint in the lighter brown bits, and then use the mold to make a new front. I said "I am really not that worried, I can't see it." So they said take it on trial and get back to them anytime if it worries me, they are really nice and helpful.

You have to smile when you read instruction books of appliances today.
Due to fear of 'elf n' safety comebacks, manufactures have to consider people are really stupid.
Two bits from the instruction book of our new oven.

Basic Operation.

That's a bit ambiguous , is the "Off" switch marked Off or just o ? Don't know if I could manage that. :)

I think they use "O" rather than "OFF" as these German ovens (made in Poland) are, like many other manufacturers' appliances, are sold in a lot of different countries.
