We have so few that flower this late I wish I had more around the house.@DirtMechanic lovely colour I have a white one getting it's buds for flowering developing now for next year...last year in the winter I got concerned and hubby made an igloo shape around it with curtains throwed over but it did a lovely showring after...beautiful plants

I have mine where it's half shade and sun and once it flowered early this year, it lost leaves like mad to new fresh ones...trimming them back helps..i did my two pieris as they was going leggy but looked lovely on top but they've got new grow from the shoots also...it helps regenerate them.Mine are leggy and in the shade under trees. Its hard to believe cukes in Nov. But I guess that FL summer heat is the tradeoffI always thought cukes and melons had pretty flowers. Hopefully I'll still get a few cukes from this one.
