'Jacob Cline' Bee Balm that I just bought a few days ago bloomed. Wish I had more than a single stem, but it'll spread, so I hope it spreads a lot.

Purple Prairie Clover

One of my favorite sections of my native garden. Purple Prairie Clover, Orange Milkweed, Black-eyed Susans, and Swamp Milkweed.

I guess we missed a couple onions. I've only ever seen pictures of the flowers. The bees seem to love it. (Wonder what that honey will taste like?! .)

Hey now, back away from the saw! Actually the 78 is a t-top. When I found it, it was rotting away behind someone's house destined to be a flower pot.

Take the hood off and make a floor a foot or so below hood level and plant away! Could build a little planter for the sun roof too. I would totally do that of I could get away with it...neither the hoa nor the wife would go for that im afraid

@zigs the car in your photo already is a plant and i'll bet it is lovely in Spring

@vette-kid sorry a t-top is not good enough, first of all you have to get rid of the T, then windshield, then the entire top back because that rear window is going to toast your plants. Also you should paint it a more garden friendly color, maybe a nice coral or blue, then pop the seats out and you are good to go just fill er up with soil.

@Larisa is the idea that the vegetation will eventually grow up and cover the car? I've heard that St. Petersburg is a beautiful city.
