Yes raking leaves is a chore but when you consider even this most mundane task it gets you into the garden for a while and gives you exercise and fresh air whilst so many huddle indoors in front of a TV watching wall to wall sport? :)
yep, and burning calories is the only saving grace for me when raking leaves. why I am not skinny, who knows.

Actually, that's the little girl whose getting the doll bed for Christmas. I used to be that cute too... or not. Not sure what she thinks she's doing up the ladder. Probably she saw her dad or older brother up there.

I love this post. Now I know you are a lady .. LOL! Ooops! My eyesight is not very good. I usually used control + or - to zoom in or out. Can't really use the word it.. A cutie alright. I wish to have one of these..

I attend Life Drawing at the local art society. I trained as an art teacher many many years ago and have always drawn. I remember drawing a portrait of my singing teacher in secondary school when I obviously should have been singing:whistle:. Not one of my hobbies because I can't hold a tune. I imagine it would be a wonderful hobby to have if I could.

I enjoy raking leaves a lot more now that I M heavy into gardening and know that in a year or two these leaves will be feeding my vegetables. I also enjoy the mindlessness of it. I can put on my headphones and listen to some old time rock & roll. (y)

I like to sing - all sorts in a bit of English, French, Japanese and Chinese.. all broken and I only know a few phrases. But when I sing, my son will hum to stop me from singing as I am always hopelessly out of pitch .. I am pitch deaf and he's more or less pitch perfect ..

I've snapped a few I have on my walls Alp. The first one is my 3 sons, the
2nd my hubbie done in 1972 when he was always told he looked like John Lennon. Sad isn't it that John Lennon didn't get to be 66 like my husband and I are now. The 3rd one is our elest son in 1974 when I was doing my last year of study and the last are products of my Life Drawing sessions. I only draw people, portraits and nudes. Dont know why. I consider I "draw" in my garden by creating it, looking for shape, texture, line, drawing your eye round and through the image and trying to creating single shot images that stand alone and in the whole.

A wonderful hobby and wonderful work!
I especially liked the portraits. I would like to be able to do so, but there is no such talent, unfortunately.
This is a employment with feedback. The artist puts his feelings and mood in it. And it all comes back from the picture. Well, I think so. :)

I listen to ethnic music, World Music.
In the category of "ethnic" is not only folk, but also author's music, which includes traditional folk elements.
I think it's live music. It always works for me.
Ethnic music reflects every part of the planet. The sun is shining in it, it's raining, the wind is blowing, the sea is buzzing, or the white snow lies like a carpet.
Of course, this is Russian music, too. In this song the woman identifies herself with the river, connects with it.

Well, I'm a fan. Therefore, I ask you to excuse me. :)

Deborahjane, I fancy myself as something of an art fan, with a bit of knowledge about technique, etc. I love your drawings! You definitely have talent, and I thank you for sharing it with us. If you are willing, please share more.
