Added abother melon bed. Trying a new variety. I saw this a little late in the season but couldnt resist. Mango melon hybrid. Started last week seeds are sowed. I did start some indoors as soon as the seeds came in.

Fingers crossed.

Just got done preparing another 100 feet long /50 foot wide section for corn tomorrow. It's suppose to rain here starting Sunday night and not letting up until next weekend. I will probably not be doing much after tomorrow for a few days.

CORN!!! Yes, yes, yes one of the most rewarding veggies we can grow. I'll start harvesting my second planting of corn tomorrow.... three plantings total.

Just sprayed 16 gallons of garden friendly fungicide mixed with spinosad right before dawn. Another 8 gallons in the morning.
Sprayed the 8 galones this morning. Set a raised garden bed but ran out of soil. Kinda glad as it was getting hot.

I have just been waiting on the rain to start all day. I managed to till through one of my young corn plantings. If we get the rain they're calling for this week, everything will get a little weedy.

Got the rain at last, the way the lawn turns from grey and brown to green with a few brown patches is magical, but there is a lot of clover flowering suddenly. Need to get this leg better and go over it with the rake a few times.

That is really looking good keeping ahead of the weeds.
