Tried (and failed) to get this tree stump out today. My arms are going to hurt tomorrow

Just drill holes in the top . fill with diesel. And burn it out. No one ever said gardening was easy.

Not too up for setting it on fire. But had another go earlier. It's 75% there. Just one side still causing problems but will finish it off in the morning.

I did a lot today! Got lots of seeds planted indoors to give them a head start! I planted chives, heirloom tomatoes, lots of herbs, flowers, onions, cucumbers, carrots, squash, garlic and more!! Here are some of the seeds!

@Andrew_ when faced with the whole garden it looks like an impossible task, but if you get out there and concentrate on one little bit at a time you might surprise yourself..... my old mum taught me that

How will you harvest and weed in the middle of that bed. You need pathways , so you can kneel and walk.. That is why farmers plant in rows. What are you going to plant?
I am making a 4 foot x 8 ft. boxed bed inside my greenhouse, so I wont have to kneel , weed or have pests.

Yesterday started cutting the old flower stems off the lavender, might finish them today.

I have, for want of a better word, a ’heap‘ at the bottom of my garden that Im trying to do some thing with.
Over the past few weeks I’ve weeded it and leveled it a bit. I’ve now started to put some plants in.
I had some hebes in containers and some St Johns Wort which weren’t doing very well so I’ve planted them round the edge of the heap. Lets see if they work there.

I’ve got a couple of pots of jalapeños on the kitchen window sill. They‘re just making an appearance now.
