Oh, dear! They will be alright. Just not so pretty for a while. Yesterday, I saw two peachy HOLLYHOCK flowers outside my baywindow.

Nice seeing all the snow pictures. I'm thinking we might not have any for Christmas, it will be +15C today and no snow in the forecast. Yesterday while I was biking along the river, smoke from a forest fire west of the city blew in.

Still some snow in the shady spots where I feed birds.

Mrs. Woodpecker yesterday.

Found a scattered skeleton half buried in river mud. I'm thinking it's a big animal not a human skeleton. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

The little 1" dusting we were supposed to get turned into 6+" of snow. Just finished shoveling the driveway and walkways. Time for a hot cup of coffee.

Mr Woodpecker looks a bit different today, @johnny canoe ! He needs a bath urgently! Probably that's why Mrs Woodpecker was not there to squabble with him!

Hubby cleared the drive way and all the path round the garden. He thought that it stopped but it started again.

Great snow pictures everyone! No snow here today but beautiful sunshine, still chilly though at -3C/27F

@johnny canoe always has lovely birds with interesting character and they feed from his hand.. I can only dream. And Johnny can take lovely photo with his other hand .. I wouldn't be able to do it as I dropped mine even when my other hand was free. Now the aperture wouldn't open completely!

Thank you for sharing your Mr Woodpecker with us, @johnny canoe ! Hope the snow is gone tomorrow or there will be more snowballs throwing ..
