Back to normal after a long summer of about four days duration; Blackie's here on good form; I logged on at 3:30 and had to switch on the desk lamp in order to use the keyboard.

No complaints though because I've enjoyed today in the workshop.

Hi,

After a miserable wet start it's turned into a sunny hot afternoon here; even the patio has dried out. The gardens are still sticky for hoeing but I've just been round because I don't know when I'll get another chance.

We too are forecast thunderstorms Logan but why we need such forecasts beats me.

Thanks Logan. I really meant why does Huddersfield actually need a weather forecast because living here so near The Pennines it can be brilliant sunshine one minute pouring with rain the next minute. Usually it's more grim than good.

Blackie's doing his thing as usual; it's like nighttime with torrential rain but no problem; we're used to it.

Colin we've got blackies brother. We didn't get the thunderstorms only the very heavy rain. We were lucky that we walked the boys and after dinner we waited to walk them again. But we still got the heavy rain, at least we don't have to do any watering.
