@Larisa Oh, sleeting.. Worrying when it's the size of a golf ball. We have been so dry in the SE of England that this downpour for 10 minutes came as a huge relief as the soil underneath the foliage is still bone dry. Because of the heat, I think I will have my dahlia soon.

Finally we are into real summer weather here! Intermittent rain, but that is normal. Highs in the 70s and 80s, lows in the 50s and 60s.
