Yes, it is pelting down in Alberta. Checked the ospreys and saw big drops of rain running across the camera.. Not a nice day, @Belmont

Winds topped out at about 105kmh yesterday, tore a big hole in my homes skirting. It was worse southeast, by Alberta Beach. I heard sheds were lifted from the ground and thrown to the streets. It was all flooded out anyway.

Whoa! Serious. I remember one windy day, I was in the garage and I could hear the winds trying to lift the roof of the garage. I was so frightened, keeping praying the roof would stay on. As soon as the winds eased, I closed all the gaps in the doors in a haphazard way, using any thin boards that I can get hold on. Now, I am not so scared, but the garage looks like a ghetto.

@Belmont Hope you can get it fix without too much pain financially.

From what Ive heard so far, nobody has been seriously hurt or worse in this storm. Lots of damage and cleanup, though.
Attatched pictures werent taken by me, but they were all taken yesterday during or right after the storm.

I expect that to change after the rains we've had over the last three days, especially yesterday, which was very heavy and long. My rain barrel is completely full.
