Waterfall

As a landscaped garden designer I have always added a water body in my projects be it a lotus pond, a cascade or a waterfall. When I was designing our own garden I added a lotus pond and a waterfall. I closed the pond as it was attracting snakes. But our waterfall is doing well.

Thanks claudine. Nothing like the sound of a waterfall when one is strolling around. This is a 2 hp waterfall nothing like the Niagara Falls

I think that even the smallest waterfall would make me happy Listening to the sound of running water is one of my favorite things to do. It's so relaxing!

You have to instal a pump to suck water from the reservoir below and throw it up into the reservoir that is hidden on top of the waterfall. The water gets recirculated. It is very simple.

I was talking more about the structural work, I don't think I could do it Some of us are not talented with DIY projects, but I'm not completely clueless, I have helped building a pond

If snakes are a problem due to the pond, you could always consider installing a pondless waterfall.

That must be one powerful pump, that is a lot of head pressure.

I was talking about the lotus pond which attracts snakes but not the reservoir of the waterfall. I do not have a lotus pond now. A waterfall needs a reservoir from where the water is sucked

Although I know the technique I get a plumber to do it, under my supervision.
