I found some photos of the frowny faces I was talking about. Apparently they're called Eggheads and are reproductions of yet another set from UC Davis. De gustibus, I guess.

Wow, they're quite creepy! I don't like them, but, in some ways, they remind me of Venetian masks. They're less detailed though and they look angry;)

Bandit26 - haha, this is a good idea! I, too, have a neighbor I don't like, he's very nosy. I must find out what decorations creep him out:cool:

I once was driving down a back country road and saw a tree that had been carved to look like...well a male part front and center the front yard of someones house. It was hideous and had ALL the details! I was shocked that the county would allow such a thing.

This sounds like a really hideous decoration, Rosyrain:( Some people have really weird ideas. On the other hand, maybe it wasn't a decoration. Maybe a vandal broke into that garden and carved the tree;)

I have a glowing solar skull in one of my beds. It was originally a Halloween decoration until I found out it creeped out my neighbor who I don't like.. it became a permanent fixture and is point to look at her every time she comes out in her back yard. The zombie gnome will probably also take up permanent residence now that I know she also hates zombies
That's pretty funny. Maybe next Halloween you can buy a couple more of the glowing skulls. Your neighbor will wonder why they're multiplying.

Some tacky gnomes. The pink one is funny.

I love this pink gnome, just looking at him makes me laugh! He looks so hilarious. I hate most garden statues, but I must say that I'd like to have him in my garden:)
He would match my pink roses:LOL:

I can see that happening here in Florida. I have never heard of people actually eating Flamingo but I'm sure it has been tried. I have never heard of cranes, egrets, herons, etc being eaten,

Tacky or cute? These are high rise panty planters. Maybe if you have a certain type of patio decor , like a beachy seaside look, these might work.

I am guilty of being a tacky gardener. But, I must admit I like the tree faces, and garden gnomes. But those pink flamingos are a waste of time, they make no sense.

Pink Flamingos make sense in Florida. Also Caribbean, S. America, Africa. Stupid in New York.

I don't like them at all:p I hate when flower pots look like body parts, because in my opinion it's really creepy. Heads are worse though;) For example, I wouldn't want to keep these in my home:
