Picked the last 3 tomatoes today :(

My tomatoes all froze about two weeks ago. :(
Picked the last of the Swiss chard yesterday ahead of temps last night being down in the 20sF. That's it until next July or thereabouts!

Nightmare :(

Still got a tomato plant in the middle of the greenhouse that the frost didn't kill. Might try to protect it. It's got flowers on but I doubt it'll come to anything.

I'll be picking all my green and red bell peppers in the next couple of days. Nights are getting colder.

Zigs, penguins are okay, but watch out for the polar bears!
I nipped out to harvest the last of the green beans, and pull the frost bitten plants. We still have leaf lettuce and broccoli, and more arugula than I can give away. The garlic is growing nicely, and since the feed store has onion sets, I just may put in a few rows. I can't help myself:sick:!

I literally just joined this forum so didn't know this thread existed but I just picked a bunch of broccoli today. Kinda kicking myself because I was thinking earlier I should snap a pic on my phone but no, too lazy. That being said I will be picking collards later this week most likely. They're overdue for picking but again, the laziness factor.

My bell pepper plant is has a ridiculous amount of bell peppers still on it. I picked 6 or 7 big ones the other day green as I don't think we're getting enough sun or warm weather for them to turn. My tomatoes are just turning yellow and then falling off the plant. :-(

Zigs, I had to look up "oca" since it was a completely unfamiliar term and vegetable. Amazing the things you know and grow!
Today we picked lettuce, lots and lots of lettuce. I spent a happy hour washing it and putting it in the salad spinner, then packing it into quart bags. Tomorrow is an early trip to the food pantry--those dear folks love fresh vegetables, and right now all I have to offer is lettuce. When we have enough turnip greens to mess with (yes, that's a Southern expression--"mess of greens") I'll take some of those in.
My hens are giving me dirty looks because all the greenery is going to the house, and not the coop!

Oca - it is delicious? Here one gardener sells, she says it looks like potatoes. But this causes me an inexplicable suspicion.
