The film I like most with Emma Thompson in it was the film about the making of Mary Poppins.. She's very good in it. Also, The Remains of the Day. Effie Gray was scripted by her and her partner Greg Wise is the constipated John Ruskin. Effie Gray was slow and dark..

It's good watched it twice now.

Watched first episode of Howard's End. Hard to say if it's any good yet. There was back ground music, but not all the time,piano and some orchestral. It was a bit annoying. But i'll watch the next one.

Well, I am not going to watch Howards End. Watch pc56.. Funny you pointed it out. I think Red Rock has been modelled on this pc56 .. even the use of musical instruments was similar. The excessive use of songs was a bit annoying.

For the classics, I love A room with a view. George Sand and Helena Bonham-Carter were gorgeous and fantastic!

Watched Deadly women yesterday. It was gory .. Women getting sadistic pleasure out of torturing others.. very sickening. Missed my Grand Design.. Have to be careful with my timing. Tonight, rendezvous with The A word..
