Hi,
eastenders Logan; I'd rather watch paint dry. When eastenders first hit our screens we watched a few episodes which made us feel suicidal but we all like different things.

Found this, it's not the beginning of the programme but the end. His jaw was virtually hanging off and he looked so much in pain, but it's amazing what he can do.

I've always watch it but i think some of the storylines aren't very good and not realistic. It used to be very good.

Bron used to watch Corrie and Emmerdale until it became too political correct years ago as of course has so much now seen on TV.
During breakfast this morning we watched Billy Bunter on TV via YouTube;
We've been watching series of Z Cars; Softly Softly; Highway Patrol; Gideons Way; Whirlybirds preferring all these to the modern programs put out as entertainment.
How times have changed?

Finally got around to watching the first episode. This is kind of a remake of The golden compass. The series has a slightly different take in areas, but the movie has cgi that gives it a more epic look. Oh and the movie has Sam Elliot which alone makes it worth a watch.
I am going to watch the whole series, see how much they draw out the story line, should be interesting.

Hi,
Bron and I watch extremely little normal (sick) TV but two new series we look forward to are The Great Pottery Throw Down on More4 and The Motorway on Channel 5. We use the M1 and M62 motorways a lot so the series is of special interest to us; on Monday this week whilst awaiting Aldi to open I heard on the car radio there was a ten mile tail back on the M due to an accident; I hope all survived without a scratch but given the volume of traffic all it takes is a second to cause a serious traffic problem.
I think the rot set in for us years ago when we saw the foul mouthed Gordon Ramsay on TV. We now select our programs via YouTube; the TV license fee is just one huge rip off.

Next week there's a documentary with Chris packham, I've never liked the man for some reason, but he does a good documentary so I'll be watching it.

I find Chris Packham a bit weird. maybe it's his Aspergers. He's always on about it.
In one documentary, (2018) he went looking for a little six year old native girl he'd seen in a documentary he made twenty years before, about a tribe living in the jungle Sumatra in Indonesia. She was of course an adult by now. When they met again, I thought she looked most uncomfortable, she probably didn't remember him.
Due to deforestation, the jungle had gone and the tribe were camped out in a palm oil plantation. All very sad, but actually an informative documentary.

Yes i remember seeing that in the RT at the time but didn't watch it.

A fight for custody of a seven year old child, who was home schooled by her guardian, her uncle, whose single parent mother a brilliant mathmatician committed suicide when the child was an infant.
He decides that she needs to go to a regular school so she can relate to other kids. Recognised as gifted, her absentee grandmother then wants to get involved and take over her education. So takes the uncle to court to challenge custody.
But a happy ending.
