Switching the TV on to "the main, cookery/house/antiques" channels either BBC1/2, for the "red button news" having muted the sound, I could have thought I was watching a "who can wear the most eyeliner" competition amongst several women who appeared on the screen.

It was presented by "The Queen of the eyeliner," clad and posing in "Mrs Peel leather cat-suit,"(or maybe it was just a designer wetsuit), Celia Sawyer.
Apparently, it's another naffin' house programme. "Your house in their hands," where some foolish participants let young people who call themselves "designers" totally mess up their houses.

Never let anyone tell you that a bit of Schadenfreude, doesn't make watchable TV, for some on dull afternoons.

I'm always amused by some day-time programmes where there are "deadlines" for stuff to be done. Sometimes several with the camera switching back and forth from one to another,
Dramatic music is often used to heighten the situation when it looks like it won't happen. But in the end, it all gets finished "in the nick of time!"

"What were the chances of that happening?"

It always does, or it wouldn't have been included in the progamme.

WRONG! Haha! You should have seen Noel Fielding! I shiver and feel creepy when I saw a certain Noel Fielding wearing charcoal shadow and heavy eyeliner in The British Bake Off! I wonder if anybody would remember him if he forgot his props!

I can't stand him, he certainly looks creepy and he really loves himself.
I used to fast fs
forward through Buzzcocks when he was on it. I don't watch cookery programmes. There can be more than twenty cookery or food related programmes on BBC 1 and 2 each week. That's why I call them "The Cookery Channels."

The great British bake off isn't on bbc anymore.
Ch4 wone the contract to do it, it was the highest bidder.

Seen the 6th episode of a place to call home, Regina isn't the same person, she's actually on their side and not to cause trouble.

Pity the next series is the last, but the writer planned it that way.

Thank heavens there is a last series. I think series should finish before they became far-fetched and ridiculous. Anna has been a huge disappointment to me.

I knew you would say that. I think she's alright. It's a shame about Douglas. Sarah is showing her true colours.
