Hi Alp,
It's all in the same cemetery just different areas. The memorial is for the fellas from Calgary that died fighting in WW1.

Now about our cold winters. You see what looks like a stone chapel in the second set of pictures? That was where the dead bodies were stored during winter, back before they had machines that could dig through the frozen ground.

Good morning to all. Didn't want to leave the bed.. A bit cold here..

@johnny canoe See I was more or less right.. because the feel of the military one is similar to our one.. I never ventured out, I went there at least 3 times just to feel the sense of mortality, serenity... In life, we all end out there...

Going to cook my big Leg of lamb and gammon joint and must make sure that they are well cooked.. No laughing matter!

They shouldn't do, if they've got enough roots they'll be fine. Until their established don't leave them in the sun.You can pinch the tops out when they've grown a few leaves. I'm doing turkey today, so if you want some, 3pm serving up.LOL!

Morning chatterboxes :).
Sunny but a little cool .....expecting it to warm up fast ;)
Tetters, BGG is a favourite here right now....I have it in several places. Likes moisture and you can easily divide it. When it flowers, starting now, it is delightful
Thinning another batch of carrots and planting out runner beans later.

3pm??? Ah, son will be ravenously hungry by 12.30pm.. 12.30 a heavy lunch with lamb and/or ham, potatoes and later in the evening a salad bread dinner with creme brulee or Christmas pudding with Cornish ice cream.. Tons of carrot juice (as I have got 2 bags reduced to 1p each! LOL!) Son is allergic to the sight of carrot juice already!

@Tetters must be very busy .. Hope she can join us.. and now whilst we are hunting for Easter Eggs .. we have to hunt for @Verdun ... the merry making last night must have taken its toll on our resident garden adviser! LOL! @johnny canoe and @Mark56 and @Perki and @Vishu1708 .. We all wish you a merry Easter.. @johnny canoe Go easy on the alcoholic beverages..
