Evening Guys...Guess what...we have a mini heatwave...had to drive home from work with sunglasses on..:cool:
I dunno where that came from but I had to water the peppers quick as the leaves were starting to shrivel a tad, but they will be fine...Baby Cucumbers are looking really well I will pick some at the weekend I think..they are outside.
Garden looking not bad considering all that rain. I cannot wait until the weekend to try and build this Leaf Waterfall. Looking forward to this little project...and wait for it I have come up with another..indoors this time...A flat screen TV wall console for the newly decorated bedroom....from wall tiles mounted onto a wooden frame..hard to explain because its all in my head and seems to manifest itself in the wee small hours of the morning...where I have to get up and draw up my plans...its beautifully tranquil, no noise and the creative juice just seems to flow :whistle::)...Hope you all had a good day...Regards C

The genius is working over-time again, @BigC I always remember this sentence when someone was talking about Augustin Pugin about his elaborate designs of the Palace of Westminster.

Nice that you have a bit of sun. For indoor plants, they shrivel very quickly. My Brugmansia or Angel's trumpet leaves wilted and as soon as I sprayed it with water, it recovered very quickly.

The dinner plate dahlias just need tons of support. I have got the tallest support to stake this giant with its many, many flowers

@BigC you're always thinking of something.
@alp those dahlias are amazing.
I've had aching in my lower abdomen from a urine infection. Couldn't get app at dr's until Monday. Had to tell him my symptoms over the phone to get antibiotics. Since the practice was taken over, can't get app for same day as before with my other Dr, but he retired.

I can never get appointment for the same day. The previous doctor was worse. They did it deliberately and there was no way I could get an appointment on the same day. All the receptionist suggested was to visit A&E if urgent. That's the way they frustrated us.

Mind you, I don't really want to bother the doctor until I couldn't walk and my legs hurt.

Hope your antibiotics work, @Logan

@MaryMary Hahaha! Would love to see your guppies and I wonder if they are healthier than those fed on flakes.

:eek: Guppies are greedy little things, and quite accomplished beggars!! They have learned that a "human-shape" close to the tank means they might get fed, so they all start rapidly swimming at the top. :ROFLMAO:

Mine won't sit still and pose so pretty like BigC's, :rolleyes: but here is a couple shots. (Forgive my camera phone - best I can do. :oops:.)

This is the excitement over a cucumber! :)

Here is one of the smaller plecos on a cucumber, after it shooed away the gups. :ROFLMAO:

Logan... cranberry juice, cranberry juice, and more cranberry juice. If you can get the concentrated cranberry tablets, get them!! Wash them down with... you guessed it, more cranberry juice. (It helps, I swear!!) (I've been trying to quit, :oops: but I still swear!) :ROFLMAO:

Good morning to all: @MaryMary I used to keep guppies, skeleton fish and neon fish.. It's nice that you feed them food other than fakes.

It's cold here, probably around 10c. Sharp cold air. I just opened the window as the factory was very busy last night since the morning. At 7pm. son said the windows were opened at 90 degree. I coughed and retched, so had to shut the windows and turned on the ebac. Got another one for £99 as the filter is very good. Might order some filters.

Wonder if the worms should be too cold.

1st day of autumn .. :eek::cry:
