@Mark56 What is the first flower please? What a stunning photo! Is it an echinop? So beautiful!(y)

@Verdun The salvia is a patens or a ??????? the one with a long name. I so want one of those. Trouble is you never seen them in diy gc...

@BigC you surely have earned your beer .. I want my son to enroll for a joinery course so that he can build me one of these. Is that the right course?

@BigC Bamboo is big on Japanese garden and ploughed sand and strategically placed stone. If you add moss, that will be icing on the cake! Remind me of the Japanese gardener designer who always wins in Chelsea Flower Show!

I must google and see where I can buy one. It is beautiful and big and bold. Couldn't find the yellow hibiscus which caught my eye in Homebase.. Shame.

Crikey 2.40am??!! You're still up?? Japanese art is quite unique and interesting.

The rain was so heavy and the humidity so high that I could not sleep. My 100L bin butt was already full!

Too tired to sleep...cat naping and woke up believe it or not to the TV still blurring away and a very interesting docu-drama program about Samurai..after which I zonked out until now...:)
Cloudy outside there's rain in the air and lots of it for sure...I have to get the front step fitted after breakfast to free space in the garage...it seems a straight forward replacement job but as always I'm sure there will be a snag here and there.....problem is I need a 4 man lift...and all available parties dont become available until tea time.. so I'll prepare everything prior and maybe give the pergola a first lick of paint.weather permitting ..I also need bamboo for the trellis so I'll to nip to the local hardware establishment for that at some point (shops dont open until 1pm on a Sunday over here)...see ya all soon with some pics of my day......Enjoy yours wherever you are..Regards C
